Anyone who tries to argue that Ericsson has any offensive upside is wrong. Tonight is just an example of how awful his shot and instincts are. As a #6 big body who fights I don't mind him, but that kind of player isn't worth 3.25 mil.

The guy was drafted 3rd overall for a reason. He was rushed to the NHL and his development was hurt, however in the playoffs he really shone against us. Not exactly the easiest of tasks considering only Doan and Yandle did a goddamn thing for that team in the 4 games. I'm not saying he's gonna step in and be Sidney Crosby for us, but a right handed center with tons of skill and speed, ya I'm willing to say he'd help us out in the scoring department.

Kenny should pull a Vince McMahon and write up a trade contract involving Hudler straight for Iginla storm over to the Flames press box hit Jay Feaster in the head with a briefcase and make him sign the contract with his own blood. Oh, and lets go wings!

If only Darryl Sutter was still there GM. Then it would be done before the weeks over, instead with Feaster we'll have to wait till the trade deadline to make the swap

Yay. Can't wait to hear the "Now that Sids back, the pens have to be the odds on favorite to win the Cup!" on every hockey segment between now and April. Dirty prick, thanks for the golden goal and all but I still hate him. But I'll be damned if he isn't hands down the best player in the NHL.
