Good game. Jimmy was fantastic as usual.
-
What a soft call.
-
What a save by Hiller again, that would've been sweet.
-
STEWIE!!
-
Weak, weak call on Selanne but i'll take it.
-
MULE! What a play by Datsyuk.
-
Abby just drilled Getzlaf, atta boy.
-
What a save by Hiller, that would've been a beauty.
-
Atta boy Z.

Just win baby. Oh, and it would be super awesome if Smith pounded on Perrys face just for kicks
-
Good win. Howard was great, Smith needs to stay and Hudler suckz still.
-
More Smith on the PP please, the kid is great on the offensive side.

I'd almost rather Bert not use a stick, but even then he'd find a way to get holding penalty. Poor bastard, he should just play the enforcer role
-
Bert really didn't do much there, another reputation call. But he sure does cost us with the penalties.
-
Nice suicide pass Hank! f*** sakes they teach not to do that in bantam you dummy
-
I don't even know how to feel about scoring there. Cool, back to even.
-
Hudler should definately be on the point. OH WAIT
-
Man I really like Brendan Smith. So smooth with the puck.
-
Liked Berts start so far, we"ll see if it lasts.
-
Glad Berts back honestly, hope he brings some edge. I can't believe Eaves is out again, don't understand it.

Our bottom 6 could've been great this year. Instead we re-signed Miller and kept Brunnstrom as a fringe forward, and made us one dimensional. I just hate seeing us losing games, and on top of that our star players are getting run, and cheap shotted, and no one does a god damn thing about it. Not even a fight, but for f*** sakes hit there star players, slash Thornton on the wrist, make him know your there. The Wings show no emotion, ever. That's why losses are hard to take as a Wings fan, if they at least battled, gave it all they had and played the other team hard for 60 minutes I wouldn't be critical of them. But they haven't done that for years now. I hope Kenny makes a few moves later in the year to get us a few players with guts. We need guys who will go full speed and hit Zdeno Chara in the corner, we need a guy who will go into the corner with a big tough defenceman grab the puck and get it to the net. People always harped on Drapes in his later years, but he showed up every night, was as physical as he could be, and always battled hard. We miss that mentality on the 3rd and 4th lines. Helm and Abby bring it, and so does Eaves when he gets his chance. But that's it, we need some more balance. Both in our scoring players (speed and ability) and grinding players (size and guts).

It was a great suggestion? Plus all the radio guys here in Calgary have really been warming up to the idea of him being dealt, so who knows, it'd be fantastic if he came to Detroit.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. You and I both know who the sucessor to Lidstrom will be... our 2012 trade deadline acquistion.. JARROMMEEEE IGGIINLLLAAA.

This team hasn't been able to beat San Jose in the playoffs the last 2 years. So far this season, we aren't in there league when we play them. Yet our records are similar and both teams are very streaky. I'd say shake up the roster a bit (later in the season of course.. well that's when its gonna happen right or wrong ) and just play 60 minutes. I don't know how these guys are just ok with losing to the Sharks over and over. They show no emotion, ever. Babs started showing a bit tonight but it didn't matter. It sure is strange.

Yepp, the redundant bros. The best 3rd/4th liner with grit we have doesn't even play most nights in Eaves. Put Eaves on RW with a Zenon Konopka (3 points +2 71 PIMs this season) and a big LW ala ******* Brad Winchester who was also available and the Wings got a heck of a versitile 4th line. Instead we have Miller-Emmerton-Holmstrom/Brunnstrom Then again our problem is scoring and we have all these skillish players in the line-up and they ain't getting s*** done, so maybe a bit more grit couldn't hurt.
