I'm actually really excited to get Modano back. He was our big offseason acquisition, and was only rounding into form when he got hurt. Doesnt hurt getting Fil back either, the forward depth is unreal now.

If there's a move to be made, I'd guess this would be one. But who knows, Ozzies said to be close. I really liked Conks when he was here, and to not give up an asset for him makes it even better. Lots of good players being placed on waivers last couple days

Dont go crosschecking guys hard into the boards and expect nothing coming back.. Dont mind that by Stepan at all. Too bad for Green though, wasnt this his first game back in a while?

Ericsson should fight more often. It gets the guys going, shows we arent complete *******, and gets him off the ice for 5 minutes! Cant go wrong

Well put and I agree, but who knows. Did anyone think Hudler-Datsyuk-Cleary would turn out as well as it has? Plus, to me the biggest thing about getting Mo and Fil back is SPEED. They are fast guys, who move the puck well. It's gonna be huge IMO.

For a guy who skates like Homer, it's no surprise he's not contributing playing with Abdelkader and Miller. Once Fil and Modano are back and we can roll 3 scoring lines, I expect Homer will be better. Honestly, i've liked his game lately. He's made smart passes, played good defence. I think he'll be fine. Franzen is more of a piss off for me, he's playing with talent and scoring no goals.
