I honestly believe if people were able to take Pierre seriously, he'd be better as a GM then a broadcaster.. -
Obviously we lack spark in most games we play, and yes we could use more guys that will actually stick up for his teamates. But buddies high if he thinks the Wings dont have heart.

? He said he talked to Kenny, and Kenny said rules are rules, it was a unique oppertunity worth trying for but he was claimed and there's nothing they can do. That was before the game against Chicago though, maybe his mind has changed since hearing Nabby wont report to the Isle? -

That's what it seems like. And for a basement dweller to pick up Nabakov, well that just makes no sense. Why grab a 35yr old on a 1 year contract when you can plug in a young guy who's part of your future. Definately interesting, just gonna have to wait and see.

After listening to Dregs on TSN just now, I think were gonna get Nabby. Theres a reason it's taking so long, there not sure why. And bigger news, Nabakov isnt the best FA goalie on the market right now. Emery is ready to go and his agent believes the interest is gonna pick up starting the next few days. Who knows, I'd definately like see Nabakov in the red and white though.

For the money, theres gotta be something else. Maybe a NMC? or a multi-year deal? Kennys not gonna work to try to and sign Nabakov just to have him gone right away.

Jiri Fischer - one of the nicest, most humble dudes around. Had like a 20 minute conversation with the guy back in 2007 after the Wings beat the Flames here in Calgary. Also met Stevie Y last year but he was on his way to the busses so I didnt have time to talk to him, got his autograph though, was awesome.

This is out of left field. With how our goalies have played this year, definately not opposed. Doubt he clears waivers though.. I hope this doesnt mean Ozzies done. But at the very least he got 400 this year.
