Toews is the most overated player in the league right now. An awesome Olympics+Playoffs(minus the Finals) and all of a sudden he's great. Yeah, not so much, he's a hardworker and I like him, but he hasnt had more then 70 points in an NHL season. I'll take Stamkos, Backstrom, M. Richards, and Getzlaf over him anyday. Also, just caught my eye... Burrows a top 50 player in the NHL? :lol:

At 6'3, I hope he picks up more from Stuart/Kronwall then Lidstrom. Trying to duplicate perfect is hard, and doesnt always work (Ericsson last season), just making smart plays and being physical is alot easier. I wish him luck, we could use a solid young d-man to supplant Lidstrom and Rafalski when there time comes.

It's too bad it didnt work out, because CuJo was always one of my favorite players. But he was never the reason we lost in the playoffs, to post a .917 sv% when your team gets swept is incredible. He doesnt deserve the flack he gets/got, class act that deserved better.

Strong defence, good goalies, weak forwards. Bozak, Kadri, Kessel, Versteeg, Kulemin, Grabovski? Not a very good top6, is Burke looking at making any other moves Mack? Dont think he's quite satisfied yet.

Cuz you know with Downey under contract, in the regular season we are 105-42-17 and 31-13 in the playoffs
