Bout time, but it could be called back.

It just sucks. He cant do anything anymore, and you can tell in his game it gets to him. Wont throw a check because he's scared of boarding/charging calls, wont stick check because of trips, wont get physical because of roughing. The worst part is whenever he actually does that stuff he ******* gets called! Watched every game this year and it's unbelieveable.

Bertuzzi gets the most phantom calls and never any replays.. jesus

Not much going on right now, losing all the battles. Howard is playing lights out though, little disappointing we're being outplayed by an AHL team though.. no Nash 5 other guys out. I guess this is how other teams felt when we had an AHL team and managed to win some games.

What have Keith or Seabrook done in the playoffs? Campbell may be a plug, but he plays alot of minutes for the Hawks. Hjarlmarsson is overated by Chicago fans and broadcasters, he's nothing special. Boynton can barely skate, and Sopel is one of the dumbest players in the NHL. I'm so scared of Chicago, Niemi is untested and Huet sucks. Hossa cant play in the playoffs, Toews, Kane, Sharp and those guys are good players. But in you remember, the Hawks won only one game against us last year, it was in overtime. We were a bounce away from sweeping the bastards, bring them on. mindfly I know the king of negativity and pessimism, but come on man, have some pride.

The only reason he even has any points at all is he's playing with Briere and Richards and seeing powerplay time. He's a lazy butt-lunch who got hammered by Stewie twice when we played him proving that he has not changed.

White and Stajan have been good, but they arent cornerstones of a franchise and dont know how to win. On top of all that, he's got Staois, Sarich and Regehr all locked up for a combined $10,320,000. 4 goals combined, and not the greatest +/- ratings. Going into next year, the Flames have 16 players at 49.1mil in cap. They are screwed, unless they waive/buyout/manage to find someone dumb enough to take the bad contracts, this wont be the only season they miss the playoffs. If only they had just signed Theo Fleury back in training camp, could've fixed this all

Wings can beat any team in the West in a 7 game series, I'd say 5 is the desirable seed, but it dont matter. A win tonight would be nice, hopefully the Helm and Zetterberg lines can perform tonight.

That was 2008, Cup year The Sammy-Draper-Drake line was great when it was put together in that series.

Williams should and hopefully will be the one scratched, he has been slow and ineffective since his broken leg and Abdelkader brings everything he does and more.

This game is great, watch the Flames hopefully choke away there hopes at the playoffs, see us clinch a playoff berth hopefully. Too bad it's Chicago though

I'm not saying Osgood has deserved to start over Howard. The numbers are their, one has been great the other subpar. But I dont think Mike has handled the goalies right. I think Howard should've gotten the majority of the starts the way he has, but every couple games Ozzie should've played. You cant not start a guy since January and expect him to come in and be fine, yes the 1st goal today was incredibly weak and ill-timed but in that 3rd period he gave us a chance to win and the Wings as a team couldnt. This really isnt an argument anyways because Ozzie wont even play again this year more then likely, as Howard will play the pivotal games against Columbus and then Chicago next Sunday.

I wasnt trying to say he was bad, just he plays better with Lidstrom/Lilja. He was good, I really wanted him to eat Carcilloe or Lapirreire for dinner but what are you gonna do. And to your goalie rotation point earlier Drake, I think Ozzie should start Wednesday at home, he'll have a better chance of winning IMO. On the road against the Jackets who will be playing spoiler is not something Ozzie needs. Plus Howard can handle Friday and Sunday, he doesnt need a massive break or anything.

Before Babs decided to shut Ozzie down forever he had fantastic games against Calgary, Boston and San Jose, he looked like he was getting back into his groove. Since then he has 1 win and hasnt started a game at home since November 27th (Why is that relevant? He's 2-6-2 on the road with a 3.71 GAA and .868 sv%..). He finally had a good period in the 3rd today, but wont see action again this year. Honestly, if this is how Babcock is going to manage goalies, then no Osgood cant come back next year.

Wasnt Ozzie's fault today, but he cant start again. Unless the Wings decide to play for him, which they wont, they have to play Howard. More often then not they show up for Jimmy.

1st goal was Ozzie, but the other 3 were a result of s***ty play. The Wings didnt show up for 60 minutes once again, Helm's line and Datsyuk, good job. Everyone else... good job not really doing anything. s***ty game, s***ty weekend for hockey, and on top of that we didnt even goon it up on them.
