Honestly, I've noticed this season outside of Crosby on Zetterberg and a few Abdelkader incidents where he bitched out, teams arent acting tough against us anymore. Normally there'd be scrums and teams punching our stars in the face after whistles all the time, but this year not so much. I think having Bertuzzi, Ericsson, and to some extent Lilja has had a bit of an impact. I'm all about enforcers, and I'd take the 97 team over this year or last years anyday of the friggin week, but IMO the need for an enforcer hasnt been there as much this year. But to your point UK, of course having May in the line-up gave us more balls, just like Downey did, that isnt up for debate, that is fact.

In 2006 Bryz played half the Calgary series but played all of the Edmonton series, and had like 4 games the next year when Giggy was the true starter.

If we didnt suck in OT so much and had even 3 more wins I'd say it was gonna happen. But it's just too hard, I hate Chicago and there struggling but for them to lose the division lead is not gonna happen.

If he can get anywhere close to playoff form from last year it's huge. We need him and Lilja playing well, if only Danos groin would fix up we'd be firing on all cylinders. If the strong play from the team and the struggling players from the 1st half continues it's gonna be a great last couple games.
