I like this deal. We really dont need Leino after seeing what Millers done, Tollefson used to be a pretty promising bruiser on the blueline, certainly cant hurt to have him around. Any idea if Leino will play for Philly tonight? -

Probably Cormier in there as a prospect as well, according to there panel. If so, the main parts of the Hossa and Kovalchuk deals from Atlanta are 1st round pick, canadian prospect (Angelo Esposito and Patrice Cormier) and a rugged 2-way forward (Colby Armstrong, David Clarkson Which makes me wonder, if that is the deal.... he wasnt very coveted.. -

Does this really even change the balance of power in the East? I dont believe so, especially if Zajac was part of this deal. Not to mention... Jacques Lemaire is there coach. Kovalchuk cant play great defence and is as close to all out offense as you can get, we'll see how it goes. -

As purely a rental player, I'd take Kovalchuk. Cant deny his talent, he is physical, and we dont need him to play defence if we split up Z&D. Wont happen, but I wouldnt mind it. I dont have any clue as to where he's going if Boston isnt involved. Dreger mentioned the Habs as a possibility, who knows. Hopefully it does go down tonight.
