The funniest part of this was the Russians started it by sending another man over the bench to help out, the Canadians saw that and thought it was on, then the boys start piling over the boards and the rest is history. Video never gets old, Theoren Fleury was such a fiesty little f***** haha.

He's so slow. That's what I noticed last night more then anything, he cant get one loose puck, he's never in good position and once the play goes up the ice he's way back there. And he may be a better stick handler then May is in practise with no contact, but when the puck is on his stick it's off it quickly.. and not because he's playing dump and chase. Honestly, I wasnt expecting him to set the world on fire this year, but 7 points and -8? That's brutal. Couple of rookie comparisons to Leino. Jamie Benn, 8 goals 20 points -5. Ryan O'Reilly 5 goals 18 points +8. Peter Regin 5 goals 18 points +11. None of these guys were expected to make there teams, but worked hard and it's paid off. Leino believed he was guaranteed a spot and I think that was a mistake. For the record, there are rookie defenceman who arent in their teams top 4 with more points then Leino and less games played. This guy doesnt deserve excuses, he hasnt earned it.

We didnt shut them down. Howard did, but frick, Brown had an assist and 6 shots, Smyth had 9 shots and a goal, Kopitar had 8 shots. That isnt shut down, that's a stud goalie putting on a show. The only positive from this game apart from Howard, are the 2 points. In San Jose tommorow night, we're gonna have to play desperation hockey to win, or even be in the game. It sucks we lost Homer before the toughest game of the season, because Leino was flat terrible last night and we dont have much else to go too.

Much needed win, stars didnt show up, but... we didnt need them. But if the Wings play like this against San Jose they will get lit up like a ******* christmas tree, we need a great effort on Saturday.

Man, Rob Scuderi is the most overated player in the history of hockey. He wasnt good for the Pens he was lucky, he's barely better then Janik and has made so many boneheaded plays already in this game.
