I love Homer, and hopefully he manages to stay healthy this year, but 1 yr at 1.6 is the most I'd give him. He's getting up there in age and is a PP specialist. If he can still contribute, love to see him back.

Must win. The Ducks are without 3 of their top players and just stink this year.. hopefully Howie has a strong game. Janik and Bertuzzi better be ready without May in the line-up, Ducks are gonna bring it for sure.

Looking at the schedule for January, Febuary and March, the Wings play alot of the team that are ahead of them. All they need to do is win, they will decide there own destiny.

If we get them both back in the same game, fantastic! Cleary was really getting his offensive game going before his injury and Zetterberg is Zetterberg. It's a huge boost getting those guys back.

Langenbrunner wont play over Kessel... not only is he not as good, but Buke and Wilson are calling the shots.

Danny had come off back to back 20 goal seasons, his cap hit is 2.8 regardless of how much he makes overall, and plays all situations. Homer is turning 38, and really does try hard and stand in front of the net, but that's it. Holland wont offer Homer more then a million or so, it isnt smart buisness. And Franzen isnt even close to an example, he was coming off back to back beastly playoffs and played all situations too, along with being young.

Yeah he was brutal last year. I know, I hate him too, but not so much because of who he is as a player. But rather for how Flames fans make him out like he's the 2nd coming.

With Giordano developing into a top 4 defenceman, and the fact that Pardy and Kronwall both deserve to play, it makes sense that they might want to deal Dion for some offence. Not sure what the market is for him though, he's good and young but has been having a rough season.

Like you said though, it's a good problem to have. Especially considering coming in everyone thought we'd have no depth. We ever get healthy we're going to give teams alot of problems. As far as the players good, as good as Homer and Malts have been this year I gotta believe there close to the end, and Ive liked him in his short stint so far but unless J-Will comes back and starts contributing he might be moved on.
