John Garrett is such an idiot. Tatar barely touched 6'7 Bishop and he dove down (driven in by Garrison anyways) and he's calling for a penalty. -

Nervous about Smith being back in, having flashbacks to the Chicago series. Hopefully Babs watches his minutes. Abby should make a difference, we have some OK depth now, but Andersson will make the 3rd line.... uh less than dangerous lets say. Petr's gonna have a big game, LGW!!!! -
Getting off topic now, but yes they were for the playoffs. Game 6 vs San Jose in the 2nd round and Game 2 vs Phoenix in the 1st round I remember constantly bitching about Babs not using the pairs that you mentioned which had worked so well in the past.

For the cup run years yes, but 2011 Babs mixed up the pairs. Lidstrom-Stuart, Rafalski-Ericsson, Kronwall-Salei. Just another good move by the "best coach in hockey"

To this day I blame Babs for losing that series. Never change a winning line-up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you remember 2013 against Chicago? If Smith was brought in I agree with you, he'd factor in on a series-critical goal that Tampa Bay scores when Smith coughs one up the middle. -
What a joke. Hate seeing this organization piss away talent. Mcdavid doesn't save Edmonton, they still have no defenceman that can play can in their own zone (how you doing J. Schultz) and a goalie who can stop the puck.

Gotta switch up the lines in Game 3, Abby or no Abby. A split is good. Worried about our goal scoring as I have been since January, relying on your PP when your best players are old and small isn't conducive for success. Need some cycle game, some greasy rebounds 5on5 to go in. Oh, and it's gotta be Mrazek in Game 3. Howard looked like a lost puppy in the 3rd. -

Really loving Ferraro's game so far though. Dude is earning a 4th line spot next year. Would love Ferraro-Glendening-Callahan, Drew Miller is a really nice guy I'm sure, but Callahan gives you everything he does for less, and he hits, fights and puts more pucks in the net. -

Starting to really sour on Sheahan. Might be the softest guy on the team, and that's hard with Andersson in the lineup. Doesn't hit, won't screen the goalie straight up, loses puck battles consistently. He's a good player, really skilled, questionable ability to battle. Especially in the playoffs, he's been invisible. At least Tatar and Nyquist are starting to get going here this game. -

Too bad. The shot totals look better, yet we're playing worse. Not on Mrazek, he's still battling. Time to change up the lines, Z and D just doesn't work anymore. Hasn't since Homer left. We could really use Abby too..... day to day...... HMMMM
