Mrazek going against Boston on Thursday.

Mrazek has the reigns for the rest of the season. Boy, our defence is a sorry ******* embarrassment. The turnovers were bad, and they were frequent. All the injuries are bad, but to be dominated from start to finish on home ice is inexcusable. Unless a bunch of bodies are ready thursday against Boston we're in trouble.

Hopefully, if he leaves, he gets a Patrick Roy kind of gig where he can make player moves. A 1st round pick for Glendening and Andersson, why yes please Mr. Babcock

Mrazek has to grab the ball and run with it, if he falters... there goes our chances. I believe in em, he's shown the ability to bounce back after bad games. Plus I think the Sens magic bubble has burst, LGW!!!

Pretty clear Mike is just done with Weiss. Goal and an assist in 2 games back in, Sheahan is ready to go and he's out and Andersson for whatever reason is still in. Andersson and Miller playing, all they provide is PK ability.... great our PK has sucked since the trade deadline... so why are they playing over a guy that can create offense and you know... score goals.

Can the whole team and goalie both play well 2 games in row? Lets see, LGW!!

Well, that sucked. Gotta come back with Mrazek on Saturday, Jimmy was given a chance to rebound... 19 seconds in. On a good note, atta ******* boy Weiss, I wish he pointed to Babs after the goal Hulk Hogan style and hit em with a leg drop. Hope even when we get healthy he can stay in the line-up, he's got some good chemistry with Pulks.

Lets be honest, if Pav isn't ready to go, would anyone REALLY be surprised if Mike put in Cleary to replace Cole because he wants another "real gud" big body? I wouldn't. With that said, Pav and Weiss please. (suck it Andersson)

I agree about the defense thing. They've been brutal, DeKeyser is having a really rough stretch the last 10 games or so, E and Smith, well.... it's a bad comparison, but I hate seeing a s***ty team like Montreal doing amazing because of 1 player. If not for Price, their not a playoff team. I don't ever expect Howard to play like Price, but I know he's better than he's been in the second half. That's my only beef.

He's not as bad as people make him out to be, but for the sake of conversation, who cares? He played great in the 1st half. Anyone who disagrees with that is probably just a Howard hater. Since then? He's been pretty bad outside of a couple games, notably the one against the Rangers where he stole 2 points. I think people just want some consistency from Jimmy is all.

Well that was something. Jimmy needs to.... figure it out. Hope Cole and Kronwall aren't hurt bad, with the way were playing and the way Ottawa is playing this is gonna be a race to the finish line.

It's gonna be ugly, the effort probably won't be great, but who gives a s***: just win baby. Need these points, Ottawa and Boston are too close for my liking. LGW!!

It is pretty noticeable. The worst thing for me re:forecheck, is that we have some guys who can lay the body but don't. Unlike Boston where we just couldn't break the defensive wall or get to the inside to create offense, I think a series against Tampa Bay will be more back and fourth and based on goaltending, and less of us getting pounded. I think we'll create more offense against Tampa, but can we beat Bishop consistenly? MFer is 7-0-1 against us in his career with "stands on his head" numbers. This team might be like the old finals teams and have a switch waiting to be flipped, but I'll believe that when I see it. Also, if anyone really wants to panic: Boston is 4 back and we play them coming up, and Ottawa is 6 back and we play them coming up. (duh duh duh )

I'm with ya on the Miller thing. But I think we both know he isn't going anywhere because he's another "real gud" Babcock guy. The wings could have 4 lines deep of guys that can play, and consistently don't. That's my only beef. I don't even think I hate Andersson, I just hate how much Mike plays him and how he uses him. Kind of like Glendening last season before he worked on his skating in the summer.

That Nyquist dive is embarrasing to watch. He's been fined already, more coming. To the game, when you guys look at our forward lineup, do you say "I think were scoring some goals tonight"? I don't. Mike needs to get over his obsession with playing scrubs. We need to start scoring some goals. Of all the playoff teams, we have the least amount of 5on5 goals. Can't rely on the PP so much and expect to win.

Andersson scores a hat-trick and we win 3-1. LGW!! (little reverse psychology tonight )

Yupp. AA and Larkins development has made me excited for the future, not worried. Not to mention whoever we draft in the next few years while Z and D are still here.

It used to be Kopecky when he was horrible during the finals years. Thankfully in 09, Beauchemin flattened his face. Andersson is worse than Kopecky ever was, and yet Mike dies for him. I'll never get it.

Have you seen Andersson play? Especially without Pav in the lineup, it's insane that Weiss is sitting for a 4th line PKer.

If Weiss were in for Andersson tonight we might have a few, Andersson is the only guy gettting chances and just cant bury because he SUCKS. There hasn't been such a s***ty player who Babs has loved since Kopecky

It's actually a joke. Andersson can't keep up with Nyquist and Pulkkinen and it's hilarious to watch.
