I've liked most of the games. Newbury, Janik, Delmore, Kindl and May will give us great depth from the minors, IMO they've all had strong camps. Bertuzzi can get alot better, Williams looks good, Eaves hasnt done a thing. Zetterberg hasnt played, Homer looks better, Franzen looks good, Cleary looks very confident and strong. Abdelkader has been great, I hope he gets lots of looks this year. Defence, Kronwall has easily been the best. Stuarts been meh, Rafalski and Lidstrom I havent seen much, Meech and Lebda have been horrible. Ericssons got some work to do. Howard and Ozzie have been alright. I dont think the pre-season is much other then hockey to watch, the Swedes will be dialed up and ready to go for Sweden, in their homeland, if we dont come out 2-0, then I'll have some concern, as of now, not worried about s***.

That sucked, but to be expected. Eaves did nothing tonight, hope that's not his physical game everyone talks about. Howard was good though.

Very true, just a testament to hockey players being the best professional athletes.

Tough guys always have the best attitudes. And from interviews Kenny sounds like the most player friendly GM around.

Leino threw it cross ice to the point, Stuart slapped it past Toskala's blocker. Pretty weak goal all things considered. And here comes The Monster.

I loved Downey, but it's refreshing to have a tough guy that can take and make a pass like and NHL regular

Great stick by Stuart on the PK, more of that in the regular season, still not attacking the points enough, but as long as they arent scoring. Malts gets away with a penalty there aswell

Nice rush by Willy and sets up Ritola who just misses, and PK coming up.

Hart Ovechkin Crosby and Malkin will be close, but Ovechkins goal totals and lack of help makes him the MVP. Lester B. Pearson Crosby Art Ross Sidney Crosby I think he'll get a buttload of assists this year. Maurice Rocket Richard Ovechkin He'll push 60 again this year. Vezina Luongo Vancouver's defence got deeper and stronger, I dont see Luongo having a slow start this year. William Jennings Tim Thomas Norris Lidstrom Skills are starting to go, but I think Nick still has it in him. Selke Datsyuk Mike Richards will be neck and neck with him, but I dont see Datsyuk losing this one. Calder Tavares He's the real deal Lady Byng Datsyuk Well... way she goes Jack Adams John Stevens I'm predicting Philly has a big year.

My mistake then, I was looking over detnews today and came across an article invovling it. As far as the legal thing, it's just he's tying in players and coachs/management that have all moved past it, I see where he's coming from, but to me I'd just like to see the whole thing over with.

Any sympathy I once had for Steve Moore is gone. He must've hurt his brain alot more then his neck from that accident. Almost 6 years ago, and he's still drawing it out as long as possible. He needs to grow up, and give up. Him trying to drag Bertuzzi, May, Crawford, Burke and the whole Vancouver organization is foolish. He was a dirty cheapshotting rat, who was more of a scumbag then Steve Ott and Sean Avery combined, was a fringe NHL player at best, took a dirty run at a Captain of at te time, a premier NHL team, and when retribution came calling, he skated away, because he was afraid. He doesnt deserve the time of day any more, Bertuzzi payed his due, Bertuzzi was one of the best players in the NHL before he beat up an AHLer, and now because of it, he's barely a 2nd/3rd line, it's too bad. I really dont care if my view isnt right, all Moore had to do was man up and get beat up Brad May, and he'd still be in the AHL, unfortunately, he made a costly mistake.

Leafs TV is right behin FSD for me. Joe Bowen is great, and they do a mean pregame intro alot like CBC.

Eaves/May is a good rotation. One brings more speed and skill, and one brings the physical element, they both hit, and May can keep the flies off. I'm just happy we've gotten alot more Canadian, and alot tougher then offseason. (Frig you Hossa!)
