Fantastic. It was a shame he didnt through em as often as 08, but that made up for it. And for people saying it was dirty... GOOD! Enough "class" and "byngs are good". I've loved every single one of them, thats hockey, sometimes you leave you feet, sometimes you dont.

I hope Dano makes this team, he's getting literally no press whatsoever, I'm hoping Babs just lets him play top line with Z&D and get some powerplay time, prove his worth through points. He can be a Canadian warrior, just needs a chance. (Yeah I know it's unlikely, but Newfies gotta pull for one another.)

Despite knocking out the Wings (which I blamed solely on Legace and made it easier for me to like them ), I wish Edmonton had won. That team had so many great stories and players I liked, it was too bad. I'd put them behind the Wings, Devils, and Stars and just in front of the Pens. -
Really though In 2002, I never would've imagined Datsyuk being a physical player and a defensive stud, all the while leading the Wings in scoring 3 years in a row.

I know it's not really relivant, but most goalies I played against, were absolute dickheads. Seriously, blockers flying everywhere, one year I got challenged by goalies to fight 5 times! What Downs did was only a big deal because it was in the AHL, I've seen much worse done over much less. I mean it's not like he dove into the other teams bench and started chucking punches at the whole team or anything.

ESPN needs to get hockey back. Sometimes I'd watch the ESPN broadcast over the CBC one if they were being played on both, Gary Thorne was just a heck of an announcer.

That's too bad. Mac will always be one of my favorites, his beat down on Claudia will never die, too bad he couldnt get a gig with GR again this season.

Why did it have to happen to Lilja of all the defenceman, he'd hit, fight and stick up for his teamates time after time and now he's damaged goods. A healthy Lilja-Ericsson combo would've been exactly what this team needed.

I wish Downey had left after he defended Lidstrom against Colorado, how friggin dirty was that! Everythign Downey did, he did for the team. He was a great ******* guy and doesnt deserve anything negative said about it, it's ridiculous.
