Zetterberg-Sheahan-Glendening-Andersson is what you call no center depth. Mike's hatred for Weiss is infuriating. He hasn't been great lately, but he can actually pass and skate unlike Andersson. Glendening will be a fish out of water with Nyquist and Pulks. Man, just play guys where they're supposed to play!! Cole-Zetterberg-Abdelkader Tatar-Sheahan-Helm Nyquist-Weiss-Pulkkinen Miller-Glendening-Jurco These lines can get the job done without Pav, #18 has no business being in the lineup whatsoever.

Mikes great idea today was to put Andersson between Nyquist and Pulks, and move Sheahan up.

Yeah, I get the whole "good soldier" crap, but if Q needs surgery he should've gotten it. He would've been good to go for the playoffs, it's clear the past few games his mobility is shot with those bone chips.

How about 3rd line center Joakim Andersson by the way? LOL. I've been the biggest supporter of Weiss, and still think he's a good player, but we gotta trade him in the offseason. It is clear as day that Mike isn't a fan.

Getting worse by the game. I've said it before, this season reeks of 2012. Start great, be near the top of the conference at the ASB. Then, Howard gets hurt, comes back and doesn't play as well. Then, make a trade and the team reacts negatively. Eventually don't get home ice, and... well you know the rest. Lets hope they can get this figured out because it's baaad right now.

There hasn't been an opportunity to grab home ice in the playoffs like this since Nick retired. 3 games in hand on TB, 2 games left head to head, Tampa Bay having injuries troubles. If we don't end up with home ice, it'll probably be our own faults. Hope the boys can get out of this funk and take advantage of the the chance.

WIIM pointed out... Ericsson had 2 shifts in the 3rd, and Andersson didn't have a single shift. So.... PROGESS! (Ericsson will play 20 mins saturday and Weiss will remain scratched for Andersson)

I'd say he will, it's a back to back and Pittsburgh the following afternoon seems more likely for Jimmy.

Shots didn't tell the story tonight. Not a great effort. It'd be great if Mike would bench one of the veterans to try and get the guys playing, but we all know that'd never happen. It's very "Leaf Fan" of me to think one or two injured players coming back will fix us, but I'm holding onto hope Helm will re-balance the lineup and hopefully get us out of this funk.

Yupp. When the 4th line was Miller-Glendening-Jurco, they were a match up problem because they could skate and cycle the puck. When Helm comes back, I hope that's what Babs uses.

Since GMR hasn't gotten to this yet, McGrattan would score 30 goals with Datsyuk ala Probert (200+pims too)
