Yes, Leino showed he's got talent and is strong on the boards and down low. With Franzen and Filppula he's perfect. Homer doesnt deserve anything but the 4th line, all he does anymore is hit, his shot is gone, he could barely ever skate, I love him, but he should be on the 4th line, and on the PP stuck right in front of the goalie. Why is it so hard for people to understand Homers a 4th line guy now? He doesnt fit on a line with Helm, he isnt skilled enough to play on a line without Z and Datsyuk that is relied upon to score. If he isnt on the 4th line, he'll be on the top line much like he was in previous years. I love Homer to death, but I dont think he has it in him anymore.

He'll have a good chance next year, but I'm thinking 2 years from now Ferraro will be on this team. And boy oh boy I cant wait A guy with 20 goal potential, 150+ hits a season potential, and 4-5 scraps a year against middleweights. Pretty sure he's a good leader too.

True, I could see Abdelkader here as a gritty tough presence, if a trade isnt in the best interest, and assuming he has a strong year in GR to that point. But on defence, I think Kenny may make a depth move there, and again that depends on if Liljas healthy or not.

No. As long as Ozzie is in net, this team can at least get to the 2nd round. The rest depends on the team, I really think Kenny will make moves at the deadline when more money is available, yes Williams is a horrible signing, but rebuilding year? No.

It really sucks. Even if Lilja manages to come back he'll never get his snarl back because if he does he could get headaches again. it just really sucks, Ericsson and Lilja had such promise.

The fact were over the cap because of signing Williams says it all, Holland screwed up. I'd rather have Abdelkader and some room for the deadline then having the team we have all year. God, this is gonna be 05-06 all over again but worse. I've been positive all offseason, saying that we wont be affected by the loses we've had, so you cant say I'm some sort of negative guy, I just know this is the wrong move. Williams has been hated by fans in all 3 cities, hasnt dont much, I think he almost got 20 playing top minutes in Atlanta and top 9 minutes in Columbus. 3 points in 23 playoff games, I wish this was some sort of nightmare. At the very least they'll still be Cleary, Helm, Ericsson... and even the Eaves deal looked smart, but this, man.

I'm sure Helm will throw down a couple times in his career, and he was a WHLer and has fought before, but I cant wait till he gets some tough linemates. Ferraro whenever he's ready and Abdelkader next year (and hopefully the playoffs) I loved the grind line, and a line of Abdelkader-Helm-Ferraro just intrigues the s*** out of me. There all decent offensively, love to hit, and 2 of them can scrap. (Plus there good north american boys )

As long as he stays away from Colby Armstrong and Darcy Tucker were in the clear, he's always been a good role player when those players havent effected his season.
