? Exelby was the main part of that deal apart from shedding salary. He wont be moved. The only d-man over then Kaberle that's leaving TO is like you said, Finger.

Fantastic Signings!!! I've been a huge fan of these two, Newbury is a rugged forward with a bit of a scoring touch in the minors, and Williams was a pretty good player during his time in the Leafs and with the Marlies. Excellent work by Kenny here, I'm very surprised Burkie didnt re-sign those two. -
Yeah, now that they've brought in Komisarek, Exelby and Beauchemin in, they should just waive Finger. Phil Oreskovic (Marlies) brings the same things but for 3 million dollars less.

I think they'll be fine. A healthy Cleary all year has the potential for 20-30 goals, a healthy Homer has the potential for 15-20, Franzen will probably get 30+, Z will probably get 30+, Datsyuk probably will as well. Fil needs to score more, Leino needs to score some goals, Helms speed will get him some goals, Abby can score some goals. Malts and Drapes... they just need to play physical. It'll be a different season, but it could be a great one.

Everyone said the same thing when Yzerman and Shanahan left. As much as it hurt emotionally, the Wings got around it. Just like then, they'll get around it.

I honestly wouldnt mind Bertuzzi now. Holland was interested him last year according to mlive, until Hossa phoned him up, and only Mike Milbury would sign Bert over Hossa. But if there was a cheap, role player that could play in Detroit, it'd be Travis Moen or Mark Bell. We'll see what Kenny does, but I hope to god it's not someone like Grier.
