Honestly, thinking about the past couple days, if Huds prices himself out of Detroit, I think we're still fine. If we sign a grinder/defensive minded guy, he'll provide a bit of offence, but if Detroit gets back to the strong defence we had in 07 and 08, we'll be fine.

But people comparing Fil tp Hudler are crazy, Fil got overpaid a little bit, if Hudler gets more then 2 million we have no room for anything, and have pretty much the same roster that lost the Cup (except a bit improved because no Hossa and Kopecky) We'll see if it does work out for the best.

Well, you should. As we would. Doesnt mean it's accurate, but Tallon has really performed the last couple of years (Outside of Brian Campbell), so we'll see what he's really got in the coming years.

Chicagos top 3 is solid in Keith, Seabrook and Barker. With Walker gone, they'll rely on Campbell more, and that Hjarlmalson kid, and as of now they dont have Barker even signed. They got some things to sort out, but they'll be good. (I still hate them with a passion though )

Honestly, ever since YG's mentioned Mark Bell, he just seems like the perfect fit. He's size and grit, but if he comes to camp and works hard with Babs, like Cleary did, he might just find his goal scoring touch again. As far as the quietness, Hossa was signed on the 3rd day of FA, Drake was signed later on in the summer in 07, Rafalski was really the only guy signed on Day 1 that was a big splash player.

They still have to get Barker and Versteeg signed, and that wont be easy. If they lose them, there suddenly not as good as they were last year.
