I feel bad for Murray, goes to the Cup Final, re-signs King of the Puck Shooting, then locks up his 50 goal scorer, two horrible seasons later, one of them still sucks, and the good one wants out, but when he finally gets out, says "Nah" and doesnt leave. I'd be an alcoholic as we speak if I was in Murrays shoes

Get Leino signed, stay competitive until the deadline, hope Minnesota is out of the race and grab a certain veteran without a Stanley Cup to his resume who should be had for cheap. (Wouldnt mind grabbing a Mark Bell/Travis Moen for cheap if it's at all possible during the summer though!) -

If your a team like Detroit and you have a player that plays physical, is in your face, and plays a bigger game and gets you 52 points, or a player that trys his arse off, is physically weaker, and sometimes goes on scoring slumps on the PP where it's his specialty, and doesnt really provide much else, who do you take? Not trying to rag on Huds, I'd like to see him back, but I'd take Versteeg over him if I had the choice.

I'm glad he's gone, was never a Hossa fan, he won me over a bit during the season, but turned right back into dirty Senator in the playoffs. I wish you no sucess in Chicago, and I hope to god Toews commands too much money and leaves and goes somewhere I can actually cheer him on, because THATS a hockey player!

If Lidstrom takes a cut, which I could see him doing. Get Maltby+Homers combined 3mil cap hit gone, and re-up Helm and Abby, and then we have some room to work with. -
If this were true, Osgood and Stuart would've been given invites. Canada needs different elements, despite all the good he's done for Canada in the past, Ryan Smyth is a joke of a player now and doesnt deserve to be at that camp anymore then Cleary.

Osgood would've made the list if he won the Cup. Fleury doesnt deserve that spot, at all, but he won the Cup.

One brings it in the playoffs, one doesnt. We picked the right players, but by no means am I content with the Wings not making any moves today. This current roster needs tweaks if it wants a chance to win.

Pahlsson just signed with the Blue Jackets. Wings are just gonna sit back, and let all the free agents sign, and go in with what they got. We'll see how it works.

If there really expecting all these old, tired players to step it up, there nuts. No new blood, no new desire. These guys have gone deep in the playoffs in back to back years, and were very banged up last season. Not liking the sounds of this, but again, still lots of time to go... -
There's little left, I'm still holding out hope for Chad LaRose, but I seriously doubt it. He's pretty much it for grit that can play thats left, just funny that Kenny says if he has a chance to get someone like that, he would but there never available, but this year a bunch were, and we miss out. Theres lots of time to go before the season, so I wont base judgement off of today, but very disappointing.

Oh, I understand that. I'll be cursing at the TV quite a bit that night, but I'll still like them afterwards. As far as Pittsburgh, Malkin and Crosby are going to learn how to cry, and in the playoffs, how to lose.
