I totally agree with Lappy and Neil. Lose Sammy and Hossa, gain them. Give Leino, Abby and Helm full time spots. Ericsson and a healthy Lilja on the back end is strong to go along with Kronner and Stuart (when they decide to turn it on)

We did out hit the Ducks, but that series did take alot out of us. Whether it was physicality, the long drawn out games, or the fact that for an 8th seed they just didnt go away. I believe if we had played anyone else in the 2nd round, we'd be champs right now. But that means nothing now.

It'll be near impossible for both teams to make it back. I'd love to see it happen though.

John Madden or Rob Niedermayer at C. Neil, Moen or Lappy as Wingers. If theres a need for a defenceman, I'll take a warrior like Matt Walker. Then again, there probably is only a need for 2 of those players, just guys I'd love to see. Seeing Shanny on that list man, love to have him back, wont happen though.

I dont like Sidney, but I respect his talent and his resume. He was so excited, yes he should've been in the handshake line, but everyone makes mistakes. I understand where Drapes is coming from, but this isnt anything.

Lappy would be my first choice. Absolutely love the guy, even after he hurt Lids last year, if not him, Moen or Neil would be great here. No need for a Kopecky anymore, young blood and too many quality FA grinders this year.

Wow Rafalski had a herniated disk in his back, he really gutted it out. No wonder he couldnt catch Staal in Game 4, and finally we see why Datsyuk was out for so long, 2 bad injuries. Dano played like a man possesed in game 7 up until the 3rd, and with a pulled groin, man, couldnt be more proud of the guys. Sucks to lose, but they played with alot of heart.

Finally hit me this morning and it hurts, but knowing we'll probably be better next year makes it better. A healthy Wings team with a couple tweaks next year is just what the doctor ordered.
