Why did every Wing kinda smirk and say, yeah we were sending a message, when asked about what he did? I thought the Red Wings didnt stoop to message sending? I thought they just went out and played hockey? It wasnt close to what Downey did, but if you believe he wasnt trying to get to Hiller, and bump him, maybe not hurt him because it wasnt that bad, but a message sent is a message sent.

He was moving pretty fast on Perrys goal. You must not watch Getzlaf much, he cycles a bit, but it sure isnt alot that he goes slow. You mention slow motion alot, I'd like them to try a bit more, we'll burry a bunch of slow Ducks.

The PP was brutal last night, if you watched. Sammy fumbled a ton of plays, they didnt drive enough, or shoot enough. But we still got 3 PP goals. We could've burried Anaheim last night, and if the PP is better in Game 2 we will.

In the regular season, the PP being the enforcer is a ******* joke. However, in the playoffs, I believe it's nessecary. All of the things you mentioned were message senders in their own right, and the fact we out-hit the bullies and had them skating away after scrums at the net, tells me all I need to know

I thought Chelios was good tonight, no turnovers, smart plays. Dont see why we didnt play him, slower then Lebda but much, much smarter.
