i ******* hate Niemi, this guy is hot garbage against every other team in the league but lights us up. Seriously, 10-1-1 in his last 12 with a GAA under 2 is criminal for a guy who SJ (non-playoff team) is actively trying to get rid of. Lets beat this guy.

They were slow last year too. I know we're much better, but I still don't want to see Boston in the first round. Thankfully it would take a whole lot of suck by us and a whole lot of great by them for it to happen, so I think we'll get a skating series in the 1st round.

We need some goals so maybe Babs should run the top two lines, then Pulks-Weiss-Jurco, and bench the 4th line guys unless we're on the PK. But I know that's wishful thinking, Glendening and Miller will each play 5-8 minutes in the 3rd with us starved for goals... Yupp, much better chance at the extra point with Gus. Gotta get there first though

He's just so slow he sets himself up to get clocked every game. One of these games he's not gonna get up on his own if he doesn't smarten up. Not a bad period, Kings giving us nothing defensively.

GR winning 6-1 after 2 tonight. I'm wondering when we'll see Landon Ferraro again. As excited as I am for Athanasiou, he's gonna be a top 6 center in the future. Ferraro projects to be a bottom six guy, after taking a step back last year, he has 21 goals for the Griffins this season (2nd to Pulks for context). Andersson is what he is, a fill in PKer/faceoff guy. But he provides, NOTHING, else. Since it seems like Franzen will be out for the year, I'd like to see him get a crack on the 3rd/4th line. You can never have too much speed, and he's got the kind of wheels that fit with our team.

Said the same thing last night when they showed the graphic. Amazing, and to think all the talking heads thought he was "done"

There's no question he's gonna be the guy. Is it a good thing? His performance in the playoffs will decide. I just hope it isn't a case like 2012 where Jimmy gets hurt, comes back and just can't find his game. We're gonna need him to steal a few if we go up against Price/Bishop.

I'd rather he get the surgery now. He'll be back in time for the playoffs, lots of guys in the minors could get looks, and Kindl hasn't looked horrible since he's been back.
