Not a very smart guy, but I'm gonna take those words as "achilles heel". Which I agree with, but that's just in the regular season. I do applaud what the Blues have done since the 3rd of January, but relying on other teams to get yourself in the playoffs isnt something to get pissed over. The Blues still decide their own fate, we'll see if they are the team that played from October to January, or the one that everyones been drooling over.

And this puck possesion crap is getting hard to watch, how many scoring chances could the Wings had if they'd just SHOOT THE GODDAMN PUCK instead of holding onto it for half an hour only to have it poked off their stick and come back the other way for a frickin scoring chance. No biggie though, it'll all be made up for if we just beat Chicago this weekend.

The fact that we wouldnt mind a tougher team like Red Wings past, take this slowly because I hear it much to much, DOESNT MEAN WE WANT TO CHEER FOR ANOTHER TEAM. We're Red Wings fans, our opinions on hockey itself, just makes us want tougher teams. It isnt such a big demand, I'm fine with what we had last year, or having a McCarty and Shanahan who can play and answere the bell. Unfortunately, it probably wont happen, so I dont ***** and moan as much as I used too, it just annoys the hell out of me when people say "you might want to cheer for etc." (Not going off on you selectively Shoreline, I just hate that saying.)

Terrible news. I dont see Lils getting in during the post-season, how can you? With Chelios, Ericsson and Lebda all healthy and looking fine, as good a season as Lilja has had with all these problems he's had, I just dont think the Wings of all organizations will jeopardize his health. Really sucks about it, because as I said, Lilja was playing just fantastic this season. (Plus, whenever the f*ck Lilja scores, EVERYONE goes wild!)

The fact that Lidstrom and Zetterberg are having bad seasons by their standards, and he's outscoring Hossa by 20 points really points to the fact that Datsyuk is best player on this team. Plus, of the top 3 teams in the league, Datsyuk has the most points of any player on those teams. That makes him an MVP, but Ovechkin will probably win it.
