Good lord! So many chances.
-
Yes he is
-
Yeah, Ozzie sucks alright
-
Jesus christ, they dont want 1st place. What a piss poor start.
-
How many prime time chances are we going to give up?
-
Great hit Stuart!
-
At least it was Joey, good for him.
-
Nick was real bad against Calgary too, and from what I saw in Edmonton he wasnt very good either. That bad elbow of his might finally be getting to him, and age might be catching him.
-
At the very least, they looked alright there.

It isnt in the cards tonight, there is no excuse for losing to the Islanders, none. I'm not going to panic or anything, theres still hockey to be played, but the Wings are just embarrassing themselves game after game.
-
Just tuned in, 2-0 against the Isles? Dear God.
-
I want the Ducks, just to watch my favorite team embarrass those clowns.
-
Flames fan? Beliveable story. I'm suprised he knew how Steve Mason was though, most fans only know McLennan, Turek, and Kipprusoff (and not how to spell it mind you.)

At home, against a team with 50 less points. Safe to say we'd better win.

Concussion keeps Andreas Lilja's career on hold
Detroit # 1 Fan replied to I Red Wings I's topic in General
Sucks about Lils. Honestly though, this just sews up a spot on defence for Chelios, Ericsson is outplaying Lebda, Lebda isnt a veteran of 25 NHL seasons. Ericsson and Chelios as a pairing is great IMO. I seriously doubt Lilja plays again this year, too big a risk for his career. -
Went to the game tonight. Man, I need to move somewhere the Wings actually win Game was alright, Ozzie gave up some softies. Datsyuk is incredible, watching him live makes you appreciate just how great he really is. Drunk Flames fans arent so bad, the "Osgood" chants whenever Conklin made a save was hilarious. The highlight of my night (and my life) was like any Red Wings fan, I got to meet Steve Yzerman. Incredible luck, we were going down the stairs to the main floor when I look over to a man with a briefcase, I look it and it's TSN's Gord Miller, said hello he was in a rush. Then as we were going down the tunnel to grab autographs I saw a part of Stevies face and said to my dad "Thats ******* STEVE YZERMAN up ahead". Asked him for autographs, he signed my program my hat and of course, I get the sharpie he touched Good night, Wings loss wasnt that bad.

With Lilja still banged up pretty bad, I think Chelios will be playing in the playoffs, Lebda as the man out. I want another Stanley Cup, if for no other reason then to see Chelios get one more. One of my favorites and will be sad to see him go.

Eva, we dont agree on much, but you could never be more right. Franzen has been a great goal scorer for a year and half, Boyes, Cheechoo and Gionta especially scored more goals in a similar time frame, but are no way near considered top ten goal scorers. I just dont see how you can put Franzen on the same list as Kovalchuk, Ovechkin, Heatley, Nash, Iginla, or Lecavalier until he proves a consistent 30+ goal scorer for a couple more years.

That's so stupid. Pierre Lebrun got it right at the 2nd intermission, if their so concerned with players and coaches speaking french, they have their priorities in the wrong order.
-
Gainey being a quiet coach will be the end of them. Should've pulled a Lamoreillo and hired Larry Robinson. In any case, even if the Habs sneak in 8th, they'll be done in a max of 5 games. Their goaltending is horrible, and there soft as butter. Latendresse and Laperrire are the only guys finishing checks, the rest of the guys are just going through the motions. Oh, and boy do I love it!

Don had his game face on, him tossing off MacLeans glasses was priceless!
