Listen, I love Broduer, but taking a game away from FSN and NOT FINISHING IT is bulls***. f*** Versus.

Got alot more respect for Sidney if true. I love Savard, but if your beaking him like that, and backing down when he takes it off,

It was only last year when we called these goons our rivals. To the point where Dan Cleary dropped them with Chris Pronger and later in the year Downey was the focal point of a game against those same Ducks. After tonight, I have to say, that is pretty much over. What a pisspoor management Anaheim has had, be it Bob Murray or Brian Burke. After being ousted by Edmonton in 2006, the Ducks knew they had a good shot, but needed to make some moves. Well, Lupul, Smid and a 1st for Pronger was pretty big. Burkes best move. Pronger probably is what put them over the top. Picking up a good veteran in Brad May was a good move for the playoffs too. When Scotty Niedermayer raised the Cup over his head, probably the greatest thing Anaheim fans will ever seen, because it's gone so downhill since then. Dustin Penner, one of Anaheims top young guns, doesnt get a qualifying offer from Burke, and is purged by Edmonton for alot of money, it didnt work out, but Burkie couldve had a young power forward for 1-2 million but didnt take the time. Niedermayer and Selanne dont know if they want to play anymore. Forces Burke to overpay for Matt Schnieder and Todd Bertuzzi, a couple of injury prone vets. Not tough to say they didnt perform like he had expected. He was also in a cap crunch so what does Burkie do? Trades one of his best players to St Louis (a team in the conference) for past his prime Doug Weight, who had a terrible year with Anaheim. His next move, with JS Giguere "the number one", the guy he paid big money(6.75 million or whatever) he needed to get rid of Illya Bryzgalov, the guy who had carried them to the WCF in 06. He places him on waivers and is promptly picked up by the Coyotes (in the conference, IN THE DIVISION!). How does JS Giguere pay Burkie back? Not good, a decent year last year, but played horribly this year and was upseated by Jonas Hiller. Of other stupid moves made. Trading Sean O'Donnell a huge peice of their cup win, to LA again in the conference and division. Lets a great role player in Shawn Thornton go to FA. Another good guy Todd Fedoruk goes to Minnesota, then back in the division with the Coyotes. Shane O'Brien to Tampa, was actually a good deal getting a 1st, but never did anything with it. Then you have the strange trade for Ken Klee this year, along with others, and then goes and deals to Phoenix (that was a Murray move), Picking up random tough guys, and garbage from Atlanta. Another important part of the Cup run Chris Kunitz for Ryan Whitney, who is considered overated and overpaid by many, the signing of Brendan Morrison for too much money, the trading of Steve Montador who played great for them. Then trading 2 of there most important Cup peices, Travis Moen and Samuel Pahlsson into the Western Conference. There's probably more, but those are the notable ones for me. Include in this, Anaheim has alot of money invested, and has to re-sign alot of players. It wont even be fun laughing at them if Selanne and Niedermayer retire this off-season. Next time you want to critisize Holland (believe me, I'm a huge critic and not always please), think about how poorly this organization was run.

Art Ross Trophy - Sidney Crosby Lester B. Pearon Award - Alex Ovechkin Hart Trophy - Wait and See Venzina Trophy - Steve Mason Norris Trophy - Nicklas Lidstrom Calder Trophy - Steve Mason Lady Byng Trophy - Patrick Marleau Frank Selke Trophy - Mike Richards Jack Adams - Claude Julien Maurice "Rocket" Richard - Alex Ovechkin Some were tough, and a bit biased. I honestly dont know who to pick for the Hart, Malkin has a ton of points but he's barely been the best player on his own team. I have a feeling Ovechkin will get it, but who knows.

I'm an idiot, I just heard the term before and thought it fit here. What's wrong with it? (Just wondering because I really dont know )
-
Heard the Shelley/Parros fight was a goodie? Anyways, good for Moen beating his old team, that's what they get for trading a great character guy like him away, and into the division for god sakes.

That's how to score on a 5on3, although Lidstrom and Rafalski should frig off with the strong wing shoot crap, switch!!
