Yeah, talking about the crowds in Detroit isnt a good thing to do. Ticket prices are too high for the economy, and then most of the older fans dont really like the new style of hockey. Don's not always informed about these things.. still love him though. Man, Nashville have gone into defence mode making this game a stinker to watch.

I agree. Anyone who calls him anything for what he just said, hates him. Because they do play european hockey.

Don tells it like it is. That's why people hate him, they'd rather he just not say it. But he doesnt care about what other people think, he loves Canada, and Canadians because HES Canadian. He grew up playing, coaching, and watching Canadian hockey. He's said time and time again that he likes other players from other countries, but prefers Canadians. I'm with him, I prefer Canadian hockey players, but I still enjoy watching guys like Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, amongst others on other teams. He isnt saying he doesnt like Ovechkin, like ska said "Act like you've scored a goal before".

We have one of the worst defences in the league, that was embarassing. Conklin didnt look very good, but he isnt very good, cant expect him to do everything out there.

It`s nice that Ovechkin loves the game but he when pulls that stuff when the Caps are already up 3 or 4 nothing, It gets tiresome. I dont really disagree with what Don said, and in the playoffs someone will get him.

Hossa. He was always one of those Senators that I hated, not as much as Alfredsson, but just more then Havlat. I didnt really think much of his skills, and from what I had watched, was a soft player. But after watching him this season, I couldnt have been more wrong. The guy is a machine and far from soft, and has one hell of a shot. I`d love to see him locked up here for a while

Yeah, we picked up Bert for grit, but with the chance he could be an impact player. These 3 are guys we`d want for 3rd or 4th line for some energy, if they gave us anything else, that`s a big plus.

Big Georges popped Shelly at the end there, was nice.

Ozzie, but he's gonna bounce back. And the big one for me, Stuart. Always get excited when we get a canadian, and I knew Stuart for a while as a big physical defenceman, and he didnt have much of an impact before his injury, hopefully he's saving it for the playoffs. And I'm probably the biggest Cleary fan out there, love the guy. But I understand where some people are coming from, Dano isnt playing the grinder role like he used too, hopefully he turns it on come the playoffs. The hit on Thornton was a good start
