It's been so long since he's been healthy in an 82 game schedule, people forget he always has his lulls offensively during the year. Like you said, still an ace defensively. He'll come around soon, and Franzen seems to make every line he plays on worse lately. Hurry back Abby. -
What was Paul supposed to do? He has a star defenceman who is worse in his own zone than Kindl, and the only "star" he has up front is lazy as f*** (Ryan). MacArthur and Turris on your top line? C'mon man, their second liners and everyone knows it. That defence core? Babs couldn't make the Sens a playoff team IMO. Cameron will have them down with the Sabres in no time, he's a garbage coach. I remember the WJHC when he was Canada's bench boss... *shudders*

Not the worst of the worst, but I think with an effort like the one against Vancouver the score could be flipped. Probably phrased it poorly, I just hate when the Wings play down to Buffalo and Florida consistently. We're gonna need to get some points off of these teams. -

Games not over yet, but a piss poor effort to this point. Gonna need to start hammering bad teams because we play a lot of em this month. -
I think this coming month will show if we're for real or not. FLA, DAL, NYR, @CAR, TOR, FLA, @TOR, CBJ, NYI, COL, BUF, @OTT, @BOS We should be piling up the points, only the Rangers, Bruins, and Islanders should be potentially regulation loses. The rest I see us winning or getting a loser point from. The East is wide open and now is the time to make our move.

Man, this team is good. Obviously we still have our stupid players and stupid moments, but the good is outweighing the bad. And tons of young guys are NHL ready right now playing in the AHL. We're in good shape. -

Surprised we shat the sheets in the 3rd where were normally so strong. It happens, we just do not beat bad teams ever haha. Nyquist was pretty brutal tonight too. Hopefully they show up for Ottawa Monday because... we usually don't show up vs Ottawa. -
Too bad for Alfie, great career. But good for the Wings, this is a team on the rise because of the KIDS. Keep giving them chances to succeed.

As bad as Kindl is, Lashoff is worse. The only difference is Lashoff doesn't have the bonehead giveaways and penalties. Hopefully Ouellet can earn a spot moving forward and we can trade Kindl to the KHL, we could probably use him in my beer league too, just get him out of Detroit.

To the first point, I'd say it's probably pretty good haha. Half of our loses regulation or OT/SO are games where we turn the puck over like crazy. And we've had a few scrums, but that was the first mits off fight.

IMO, the 2015 class locks are Lidstrom, Pronger (deemed eligible today) and Fedorov. Feds had the numbers, a Hart Trophy and 3 cups. That's a heck of a resume.
