It was close, but when it's that close, the stick is still high, and made contact. I thought the play right before that, Crosby had scored anyway, never got a replay on that one.

Last season, at the end of a Saturday nighter on CBC, was a beauty.

One freak injury shoudlnt cause a big change. Brassard manned up, and starting fighting, was grabbed by his arm and it got twisted in a weird way, and now he's done for the year. Should he have been fighting Neal? Probably not, leave it to Boll, but I appauld him for doing it, even if it ended his season, he's got alot to look forward too. Edit: And if anything, this just makes the need for an enforcer greater, leave it to them, it's there job.

Cleary clutch when it counts. That line as a whole had so much jump tonight, I've done a total 180 on Hudler, he's the s***. This is no surprise to give up so many goals, its the King. This is the mentality the players have, unfortunately. It'll be different against tough teams and rivals, but for now I'm just happy to know we can score 5 or 6 any given night, when we want.

Crosby was pissed off and throwing punches at anything in sight. I'm sure that you absolutely loved Datsyuk throwing punches at Gary roberts in the finals last year. if he had hit Roberts in the pants would that have made it any less enjoyable to watch? Star players get mad, and when they do something about it, I love it. If Crosby had put him in a headlock and dragged him to the ice and started wailing him in the face (Oh, a red wing did that once... what was his name? Igor something? Oh yeah, the HOFer!!) wouldnt have made it any less appauldable then what Crosby did. The score has nothing to do with it either, trailing or ahead, he was showing Atlanta that they can keep cheapshotting him because he'll just fire back.

What a horrible way to lose the game. I love Mike Smith though, god damn, the players should've let him get to the officials!!

I'd love if our star players would show that kind of emotion, and go after guys. Real team toughness? Sidney Crosby. The kid doesnt back down from anybody, but people will still rag on him for anything he does. If he dropped the gloves with Chara and somehow managed to knock him down people would still call him lucky.
