When the defence gets better, so will our goalies stats. The truth of the matter is half the goals we allow are goals that Luongo or Brodeur would have trouble with. Rebounds, giving up the slot, open guys on the points, behind the net, and over pursuing. Until it improves, the goalies stats wont. GAA is a team stat, and sv% is about saves, Detroit goalies dont have to make alot of saves to win, they just have to make the big ones. /done

The funny this is, I bet alot of the people hating on Sidney, loved every second of what those Wings did, I know I did. Hockey players get pissed off and do stupid things, it doesnt make thm lesser people, *******, ******* or anything like that. yes, like YG pointed out, some players just fight through it and dont fight back. But Draper and Datsyuk arent good examples IMO. Datsyuk punching Scary Gary in the playoffs last year? Frustration that the Penguins were taking runs at them, and Drapes, I've seen him do his share of dirty things too. And like harold said, Stevie bitched and moaned at the referees from time to time, and maybe people dont remember the game against Boston where Yzerman almost fought a fan?

Agreed. Pretty apparant that the eye injury was hurting Dano alot more then we all thought. Because since coming back, 6 points in 5 games, +2, and still playing great defence. Where are the people calling Cleary a useless, overpaid puck hog now?
