I love Quincey, but I cant believe he's the Kings 4th leading scoring, and out scoring Drew Doughty in less games. The Wings couldnt have kept him, everyone, including him knew it, and now he got his chance and is blossoming. No need to say what/if/but, or Holland is an idiot, or even Quincey sucked here so why bother, just be happy for him, and get over it. This isnt something to be mad about.

With all the extra attention he's been getting lately, I can understand him lashing out. I'm surprised it was at Heatley though, that wasnt much of a hit. When do the Pens play the Flyers next? That'll be the game Sid loses it. Also, I love that Stuart hit on Tangauy, lord did he ever hit him hard.

As much as I love a good coo coo bird cage rattler, hitting doesnt protect teamates. Ideally, you get a guy like Neil or Torres that do both very well. Or you use your enforcer sparingly, when another team takes exception to things. In the playoffs of course everything chnages, hitting is huge in the playoffs. It changes games, in the same kinda way a fight changes a game in the regular season, gets the boys on the bench going.

Well then, I guess no one can really stand Avery. He's an attention *****, and people get sick and tired of listening to him. What you just posted proves that not even a winning envoirment changes that.

Haha, if it was Turco or Richards, I wouldnt be surprised. But the rest of him hate him too. Makes me wonder what people woul'dve thought of Lemeiux if he hadnt won anything, because when Avery was on a winning team, they put up with it. But now that Dallas are falling faster and faster, and there's no Morrow to lead them, there fed up with Avery. Good on them, he's a tool. I hope he goes to Anaheim, belongs with Perry, honestly he can bring Ott with him so I can respect Dallas again.

Maltby, Draper, and Cleary have played with good hustle. Mac and Lilja have had a couple fights, and the stars have shone through like every year. But emotion? No, I can understand it though, battling the NHL's poster boy for the Cup, and then meaningless games a couple months later. It couldnt hurt to have Downey in the lineup for games like these, no one is advacating "OMG ENFORCERS = TOUGHNESS = WIN CUP". None of us say that, we get frustrated with what people say just like you, but guys that play on emotion liven up teams. Dallas Drake in the playoffs, emotion every shift, and we won the Cup, and he got it handed to him first. If that doesnt say alot, well I dont know what to say to you. But as long as we're winning, I wont be mad about physical play or emotion, as long as they have some in the playoffs is all that matters.

I'm just glad the Stars are finally tired of him. Turco, Richards, the owners, coaches etc. are all done. That said, suspending him directly after this game would've been the right move by the league, everyone was excited for this game today, it's all I heard people talking about downtown. Some guy had an older Dallas jersey with Averys name and an X through it on the back. I'm still going to watch, but ratings wise this would've been the most entertaining all year. But there's still 3 games left in the year between them, so I'm sure they'll get another chance.

Do you think every team but the Wings are mediocre or not a challenge? The Ducks are playing great hockey right now, and will be a huge test not only physically, but skill wise as well. Everyone talking down to Joey like he hasnt done anything. Making the Islanders respectable, I was so excited when I met him a couple years ago. I'm so happy to see him doing so well, and wish him luck the rest of his career. He's a great guy, from a small town, getting a shot and showing he can do it. Average or not, Joey is performing for his team when they need him, nothing more you ask from the guy. That a boy Joey!

Love him, and hate to be a downer. But Hossa will be a Red Wing for this year only. Unless we bring him back later, down the road.
