I've gotten a ton of things from felix Potvin over the years. He became good friends with my dad when he played in St John's, and always would send us autographs from guys on whatever team he was on. Even sent us Leafs playoff tickets one year, back when they were exciting to watch haha. Nothing from the Wings unfortunately, I've never lived close enough to Detroit to even give it a try, probably will try to get ahold of Dan Cleary at some point, always talk to him after games in Calgary, so we'll see.

Alright, you got me. I've watched Vancouver very closely this year. Luongo is the absolute backbone of the team, they'd have lost have of the games they've played with Sanford in net. He's terrible, his rebound control is barely better then Gigueres and he gives up softies alot. Wellwood wont keep playing like he is, just wont happen. He's soft, I love the guy, seen him play a ton in St John's but he doesnt care enough about conditioning to be an effective player all year long. Demitra is on the decline, he's having a good season so far, and good for him, but relying on him for most of the premier scoring isnt good. With Bieksa hurt, and Salo always a question mark when he walks down the hallway, are you really comfurtable with Ohlund, Edler, O'Brien and Mitchell having the bulk of minutes in front of Sanford? I wouldnt be. The Canucks better remember how they played in 06-07, because that shutdown defensive game is the only saving grace they have without Bobby Lu.

CBC, ESPN, TSN, NBC all carrying hockey would be huge for the NHL in Canada and the States. Even at taking the risk of losing money, the NHL should try hard to get it done. Renew contracts, sign new ones, get more and keep more fans.

The last great oppertunity, yes. We'll always have a chance, but we should take advantage of having such a great team this year, and not worry about the next few, our drafting can handle anything. When the playoffs begin, this will probably be the best team we've iced in a long time.

The only problem I have with the move, is Quincey could've provided us anything that Meech, Lilja or Lebda can do. I guess the thing is, I dont think any of them (as much as I love Meech) could have the same amount of points, and play 20+ solid minutes on other teams. But since he wasnt going to get a shot here, I'm glad he's playing somewhere where I can cheer him on.

The Canucks are done if Roberto is out for any amount of time.
