Soft spoken but to the point. Sakic is the best captain in the NHL. He's pretty much what Stevie was to us, to the Avs. Morrow, Doan, Smith are all good, and I'd take on my team anyday, but this day and age, no one leads better then Joe Sakic in the NHL.

The announcers in the ANA/LA game were talking about how many 3rd period comebacks, have come off the power of PP goals, and only PP goals. Something like 87% of comebacks in the 3rd are the direct result of some kind of powerplay. So it's obviously not Red Wing bias, it's league wide. And it's ridiculous. Half of the calls are marginal at best, some are as phantom as I've ever seen in my life. If I was playing in the NHL, I'd be fed up with the bulls*** the NHL is pulling.

Good deal for Pittsburgh, but Sydor waspretty good during his time in Dallas so we'll see. -
Alright, so Anaheim's defence is really weak now. I hope Pronger and Niedermayer enjoy playing 35+ minutes a night. Hopefully Beauchemin is fine, and hopefully Ryan does well, but the Ducks can spiral into oblivion.

Too bad for Danny. Cant catch a break, eye infection, broken jaw. He'll be back and better then ever, hopefully he's 100% healthy when he comes back so he can take off the visor. At least this means more games for Mac though

Strickland is a ******* tool. This is the guy that said the Red Wings were going to internally implode in November 2006. He dont know s***. I do think Hossa is going to go, but not because he wants to play with Gaborik, because he cant afford to keep him. Gaborik is a RW, Hossa is a RW for the record anyways.
