He does that exact play 2 or 3 times a game, gets it along the boards, trys to force it out, and the other team get a good chance because of it.

Cleary and Draper always play better together, I'd like to see Mac or Maltby placed on there line and play Hudler with Kopecky. We need some more energy and Cleary and Draper provide it.

That was definately a step up from the first one. I think your right, the more fights, the better Mac will get. Shaking off the rust, the last real enforcing season he had was 03/04. He didnt far so well in Calgary, although he had an alright year player wise there.

Brown didnt land alot there, just threw like 100 punches and missed with alot. Mac gets the draw. Nothing wrong with that, Browns pretty tough.

Read me wrong, I was responding to someone who said Ovechkin proved he was a really god top 10 forward, and Crosby's hype made him one right away. Not that people dont consider him top ten, I'm sure they all do. Yeah, that'd be a little ridiculous. Would make for funny commercials though

Crosby had all the hype, because he ripped up the QMJHL, came in and scored 100 points at 18 how is that not proving he's a really good top 10 forward? 121 games 120 goals 183 assists 303 points. The hype was deserved there arent alot of people in the past or in the future that will score like that in major junior hockey. 152 games 36 goals 33 assists 69 points playing for Dynamo Moscow. That's why Ovechkin didnt get hype, not that he wasnt as good as Crosby, he didnt produce near as well as him as pre-NHLers. What more does Crosby need to do for people to give him respect? He's already been in a fight, he hits, he scores, he's got heart and give's 100% every shift. Ovechkin leaves Washington for 4 games to be with his grandfather and it's a feel good story, Crosby does that and people say how he's a bad captain for leaving his team. It's purely bias, put it aside, and you'd see how good a player Crosby really is.

I'm very surprised that we have the same favorite player. This guy doesnt know jack about Dan Cleary if he really believes all these things, Cleary only got BETTER playing more minutes and with Zetterberg, and he wasnt playing bad to begin with.

Most entertaining game of the year so far. The Bruins are the toughest team in hockey, contrary to popular belief that it's Anaheim. I love watching any games they play, always great hockey, tight games that have so much intensity. You know what, I'm starting to think that Dallas are the jokes of the NHL. 2 of the biggest cowards/pests/agitators in the league, Mike Ribiero, etc. I cant stand them. As far as Ott and Avery are concerned, I feel the same as Don Cherry, these guys belong in the league, but there cowards, who are gonna get theres one day.

They play the puck possesion game very well, I'll give them that. Having a rejuvenated Patrick Marleau helps as well. If we dont have our s*** together by the All-Star break, I could very easily see the Sharks being 1st overall. Only problem is Nabakov cant win the big game, and until he proves he can, the Sharks wont do anything in the playoffs.

As much as I like seeing Mats in the White and Blue, he shouldnt go back. There new hard working grinders system is working. And it seems like the fans appreciate it alot more as well.

Oh, I was aware that you hated Crosby. And that's exactly why I dont even want to really get started in this topic. Everyone hates him, and want to see him fail. When you argue that he's great and will acheieve great things, you get conflict. Also, I like the "unnecessary diving" when you posted the videos, not showing your bias at all there. But I guess I understand, if someone argued that Claude Lemieux was great, I'd say how much he sucks too, because I hate him. But that doesnt mean he isnt one of the greatest playoff performers of all time, it's the way at look at him is clouded because of my bias.

Seriously? Man, people really hate Crosby dont they? Semin hasnt done anything so far in his career, 3 more points then Crosby 11 games in, nice! People need to realize being the "next Gretzky" and "best player in the NHL" are different. This guy has scored 307 points in 224 games. Regardless of the name, age or team, that's incredible. But people will continue to bring up the fact he's in commercials and that he whines, deal with it. Yzerman whined too, not as much as Sid, but he still did the unholy deed, or at least that's what it seems like around here. Yzerman was in commercials too, not as many as Sid, but the point is, he did it too. Get off the guys back, what has he ever done? Called out his team and the Wings in the media during the Finals? Shame on him, not like emotions take over on the biggest stage of the game or anything.

Good news. Meech deserves his shot, and I wish he'd be anchoring the 2nd PP unit as well. What I dont get, is how great Cleary was playing, and he gets demoted. Now, Filppula deserves to move up and get more playing time, but Samuelsson does not. He's proven time and again he's great at playing the 3rd line role. Besides, Filppula-Zetterberg-Cleary was a combo for a set of 5 games or something last year and played great, but I'm not gonna complain, just because I love when Drapes and Danny play together. All together the lines look better, Helm in Kopecky would make it look alot better, but beggers cant be choosers.
