Haha, we finally get in a fight, and people want McCarty sent down for it. This forum blows my mind sometimes. I was glad someone finally stepped up to the plate and did something about it. You dont fight to win, you fight to send a message. The Wings dont even remember what a fight is like, last one came in the 2nd round of the playoffs. I'd much rather have McCarty and Downey playing, but this will never happen, so even when the fighter loses, fans that feel the way I do about the game, still win.

Cool, and many also loved it. Me being one, pre-lockout hockey was great. I dont care if there was hooking holding, it was just as exciting as todays NHL, except for the 2 line pass slowing stuff down.

Remember in 07 when Pronger said the Wings couldnt score on them 5on5? Well well.. Hey, a penalty on Anaheim? No way.
