I cant believe it took us all this long to figure out. Lilja is the man behind the operation. The only reason he's so slow, and so dumb, is because he's actually too smart and too fast to play hockey. So he dumbs it down during the games, and just uses his brains while on the bench. It's very simple science, as he'd say.

Only reason Lidstrom scored was because Lilja was standing up on the bench yelling "SHOOT!"

Oh god. Dont remind me, I'm sure we'll be stuck with those at some point this season Surprisingly, Anaheims annoucers are really good, so when it comes to those games, i'll be satisfied either way. And for the game, should be 2-0 Carolina, the Wings still look confused with one another, the intensity is gone, and wheres the physical play? At this stage in life, Maltby CANNOT be our most physical forward. Hopefully they start getting some bounces, because god knows we need them.

I feel so bad for Jagr. He's probably going to think it's his fault, when it was just a freak accident. This is just a horrible day.

He used his stick and leg to slewfoot him down, it wasnt accidental, Morrow knew what he was doing. When Malkin did this to Mara in the playoffs, it wasnt a big deal. I dont know why, slewfoots are one of the most dangerous plays in hockey. Falling down awkwardly like that is never good. There should've been a penalty, if I was Peca, i'd have done the exact same thing.

On Yahoo's NHL page, Puck Daddy said there correspondant in Russia said he lost his breath after contact with Jagr, went back to the bench, and his heart just stopped.

Latendresse will be by far the best player of the 3. I like what Abdelkader brings, and the fact he's a Michigan boy so the fans will have someone's name to cheer in a couple years. I'd much rather have Latendresse then Kindl though, not a fan of his.
