If Downey and McCarty dont make the team, and Leino does, that injury to Lidstrom will be nothing compared to the cheap shots we'll be getting this year. An enforcer is needed on a defending Stanley Cup game.

That suck for Johnson, he's a great talent. But I love seeing anything that makes the Blues suffer, sorry, but the worse they are the better.

I'm not gonna get in an arguement, but having watched Sammy a ton over the past 3 years, he's not a phenomenal defensive player. He's alright, and whenever he plays with Maltby and Draper he steps up his level defensively, but by himself he's just alright. He turns over the puck, and does make bonehead plays here and there. He has faults, everyone does, but your overating his defense IMO. Sammy is on this team is because he listens to Babcock about everything, he does chip in points, and he is a good role player.

Damn, hopefully Swan gets signed to play in GR this year. I'd love to keep the guy in the system.

Why would he not talk about San Jose or Dallas? They are the only threats. The Hawks, Yotes, nor the Oilers poise any threat to this team. They will finish the easy teams quickly, because they learned this year that they can. In the past they'd think they had the free pass and would get upset by the lower teams, no more.
