Pretty bad hit. I never thought his hit on Lydman was bad even though he got suspended, and didn't see video of his earlier knee in the tournament, but hopefully he cleans it up. And please god I hope this s*** doesn't make him hit less, that's all we need is a gritty player playing like Andersson.

Going into the tournament it was all about Mantha, but it's become all about Bertuzzi. 5 goals to lead the tournament and a physical pest on every shift, can't wait for this guy to make the Wings roster in a couple years.

Interesting list. Hindsight is 20/20, but man. To think we could've had a Yandle or Subban waiting in the wings for when Nick retired would've really been something. Just shows how big a crap shoot the draft can be.

On a one or two year deal, he's perfect. Provides leadership, improves the PP, not taking a spot from the kids because he'd be replacing Quincey as DeKeysers partner. If we add Boyle and one of Marchenko/Sproul/Ouellet, our defence looks a whole lot better then it did in the playoffs. Plus no more Kindl or Lashoff.

Guelph are the best team in the CHL, but it's not usually the best team that wins. Hopefully Mantha dominates on the big stage, wouldn't mind seeing Val D'or win as I've always been partial to the Q.

Really hoping the Rangers win. If the final is MTL vs CHI I'll throw up... then root as if I were born in Quebec for the Habs.

Lucic showed tonight what a piece of s*** dirtbag he is. Chris Pronger, as dirty as he was, always respected the handshake line. Even that dirty coward Claude Lemieux after he smashed Drapes face shook hands and didn't start a riot, or cause a riot. Lucic, is a big hunchback, no respect, spotpicking piece of garbage. I had some respect for him and the Bruins, but it's completely gone. I'm pretty young, but you do not disrespect the handshake line.

I'll be cheering for anyone against the Hawks, from here on out. The worst thing about hating those scumbags is they just keep winning.

Mantha is money. GR still very alive in there playoffs, 2 prospects in the Memorial Cup, a good time to be a wings fan even with the big club at home.

Man we botched a great situation in the Metropolitan division. And boy oh boy, Rick Nash has turned into a bum. People are talking about Mike Richards being past his prime already, how about Nash? He's supposed to be dynamic, but he's been on the perimeter all playoffs. Can't get to the middle of the ice against the Pens?? Brutal.

If Babs were interested in leaving, any time soon, he would not be taking time out of his life to go to Val D'Or and watch Mantha live in the QMJHL finals tonight (during which Mantha had a 2 goals and an assist) The Toronto media are fools. One of the reasons Shanny left Detroit was he and Babs didn't see eye to eye, so why is Babs going to want to go to a ridiculously media driven market working for a guy he didn't get along with? It's a pipe dream by the media who just want something to talk about since Carlyle's immediate firing never came about. (Though I imagine he still gets canned soon)

Yeah, my guess would be Primeau or Lapointe. It's not a common thing, but if anyone can make the jump it's Mantha.

I didn't honestly expect him to be bought out, but hoped. As long as he isn't on the team come the fall I'll be happy, I don't give a s*** about his cap hit, or his production. At the end of the day, he's a lazy guy who's a monster on the ice and is softer then Hudler. That little midget got in peoples faces and tried to play a heavy game despite being 5'8, Franzen can't be bothered to finish more then a check per game, even in the playoffs. Great he scores 8 goals in a 3 game span and then has 1 the next 25, I'd rather have a guy who scores less and brings some energy or ANYTHING else. Watching clips of Franzen from the Cup runs in 08 and 09, and even to a degree 10 and 11, he's a different guy. The last 3 years he might score goals, but watching him play makes me ill.

If he doesn't land another NHL gig I'm all for it, but I think he gets another job. Probably Toronto.

So great seeing the Sharks choke. Gotta think Jumbo and Marleau get traded and Boyle is let go and they build around their young players.
