Yeah, finishing a check on the PK is a dumb move, are you kidding me? Roberts dierectly went after Franzens head, but Draper finishes a check on Gonchar and it's suddenly a penalty? Bulls***. Doesnt matter, King Henrik once again showed his 5 on 3 prowess and killed it off. -

Outside of Cleary and Lidstrom, this guy is my favorite player on the Wings. I loved him in junior, but I REALLY didnt expect him to do this well in the NHL. -

The Wings have closed out every series they've won in the past 2 years on the road. I'm excited for tommorow to quiet Mellon Arena like the Pepsi centre. -
Where's NN too? He was right last year about the clear versus Anaheim, and was the only one to blame him instead of Lilja. This situation is alot the same, expect Hudler and Franzen. He screwed up big time, now next game he'll do fine. For those who are saying "oh dont get mad at him, he has 13 goals!zz1!". Wayne Gretkzy made alot of mistakes in his career too, doesnt mean he wasnt a great player.

Whenever O'Hallaran is the official, you need to be afraid. You really got it right though, the officials were god awful tonight.

Yes, Chelios is better on the PK then Lilja, he's smarter. He brings leadership to the bench, I'd love to see Mac back in, but the only forward who played bad tonight was Sammy, and Mike wouldnt take him out.

The rule is, if a puck hits an official and it directly results in a goal, it should be blown dead. The linesman, I dont know about. But the play should've been disallowed, he's disallowed enough of ours under bogus rules, and then to do that, I just cant stand having games being decided like that. Yes the Penguins won, but they got help. This game was Detroits to lose, and they did. I expect a much better effort on Wedsneday. -

The difference? Van Massenhoven wasnt a complete dumbass, who protected every opposition goal tender like they are his kids or something. I dont blame him, the Wings blew this, but he damn sure helped. -
