Either call everything, or don't call anything. It's that simple, this playoff season, it fluctuates from period to period. Can't be that way. The Wings aren't losing this game because of the officiating, but that sequence to end the period is a joke no question.

Nyquist has been a non-factor from the get go. He did great work to get us into the dance, but has been invisible thru 5 games. Again, Babs keeps him with Sheahan and Tatar which has never worked.

Ouellet is NHL ready.

Horrible period. Maybe try skating like your seasons about to end boys. 40 minutes to do.... anything.

I'm not sure there's anyone better out there now, and Blashill isn't ready yet. But Babs has turned a masterful job in the regular season, to a s*** job thru 5 games in the playoffs.

Helm is being put in a position to fail by Babs, why won't he move Legwand up?? Helm can't make plays or score, he needs to play a physical crash and bang style. Much better fit with Miller and Glendening. Babs is losing this series just as much as anyone else.

I'm starting to hate Glendening just because Babs has a ridiculous love affair with him.

Taking Bert out for Alfie was a big mistake too. Why does Babs love Glendening so much? He's been terrible all series, I get that he competes, but he can't do jack and doesn't win draws. We need more veterans, less kids right now.

Like 80% of the series, Bruins are faster then us to start.

The lines still suck. Franzen-Helm-Alfredsson and Nyquist-Sheahan-Tatar won't do anything.

I see Paul Fenton going in as GM, and bringing Barry Trotz along as his head coach. Oates if he's smart will go back to being an assistant in New Jersey. Not sure about McPhee, I'm sure he has some use to an organization as an assistant GM or consultant. Could be the kind of guy Brian Burke wants in Calgary.

Very true. I've gotta imagine at his cap # someone will be interested in him. At the end of the day, he should be done as a Wing, either via trade or buyout.

Alfie in for Bert, Ouellet in for Kindl, Howard healthy enough to back up.

I hope this is true, but until I see the TSN article "Wings to use compliance buyout on Johan Franzen" I won't believe it.

If it is the last game of the season, I'm just hoping for a balls to the wall effort from everyone. Hopefully the B's take us lightly and we can keep this going..

IF the wings aren't able to come back against the B's, who's eligible to go back to GR and help the cause? Sheahan, Jurco, and Glendening? Would be a big boost for an already strong team. Mrazek is gonna show why he's NHL ready this postseason for the Griffins.

Miller could be a Hasek like move, and Howard bites the bullet ala Ozzie while we wait for Mrazek to be out of waiver options. But I just don't see that as being logical. Greene as a cheap #6 would be the most likely.

The way he played down the stretch, the way he's played in the playoffs, the way Babs is talking about him, the way the Detroit media seems to have turned on him, all of that leads me to believe he might be headed to a buyout. And honestly, it wouldn't hurt us too much. Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Abdelkader Nyquist-Weiss-FA/Legwand/Alfredsson Tatar-Sheahan-Jurco Miller-Helm-Glendening/Andersson/Callahan/Ferraro We'd have a ton of cap space to add an impact forward too, I know I want him gone, and as much sense as it makes to get rid of him, I just don't see Kenny biting the bullet. Instead he'll say he knows what Franzen is capable of and hopes to see a healthy season of him.
