Listening to Stephen Walkom on TSN right now, and no wonder we have idiots like Sutherland and O'Hallaran in the NHL, he first says that the Holmstrom call was a great call. Plus, it should not be a re-viewable play. -
I definately agree that he isnt an impact player offensively, espicially the last couple of years. But he was one of the best hitters in the league when he played with Toronto. That's why I see him as an impact player, at the very least he will be a much better player then Laraque. But dont get me wrong, he wont have a big enough impact by himself to beat the Wings.

Pyett looks very promising, 20 goals and 50 points as a defenceman in the WHL is pretty damn impressive. -
Filpula is horrible, if he doesnt get going soon I hope he gets benched. Maltby isnt pulling his weight either, he's gotten friggen smarten up. Worked last game, I hope it works tonight. GO WINGS!!!!!

Hasnt been good since Calgary? Have you watched the guy play? He was an absolute beast with Toronto, and has been great with Pittsburgh. I love Cheli, but Roberts impact is much more then Chelis.

He'll have an impact for sure. Do you seriously not know who Gary Roberts is? One of the grittiest players to ever play. Do I think it'll help the pens beat us? No, not with Franzen in the line-up.

I was rooting for Mac to come back all year, and he did that. He did what he needed too, and now his name will be on the cup again. He'll be the one sitting. I have a feeling if Mac gets a summer of training and then a training camp under his belt he'll be better next year.
