The saddest part is that wasnt even Lilja, that was the Pain Train. Who made one huge mistake and ruined himself. Now we just have Lilja, hopefully he gets treated like an enforcer and only plays 8-10 minutes tonight.

Agreed. Meech can play the PP, is smart on both sides of the puck, and couldnt do any worse then Lebda or Lilja.

You have seen Lilja play correct? You want to talk about turnovers while carrying the puck... I'm glad Selanne doesnt play for Dallas. Besides, Chelios is 10 times the PKer Lilja is, and without Cheli in, Lilja becomes PKer #2. Bad decision if it happens, even if the forward line up changes are pretty good.

Wow, I cant believe Babcock is going to turn to Lilja AGAIN. The guy flat out sucks, is an idiot, turnovers, penalties bad on the PK. Cool he can block shots, that isnt enough to get him in the line-up. I'd rather see Meech, Quincey or Ericsson in over ******* Lilja. Not feeling great about this game anymore, Ozzie is gonna have to think about 1998 when he shut the door against Dallas in Game 6.

Yeah it is. Dont get me wrong, I dont have a problem with Dreger, I dont think I got that across in my first post. It's just he compliments the winning teams, whereas most analysts feel bad for the losers and explain why they lost. Dregers actually good to listen too, most of TSN/ESPN/CBC/Sportsnet/NHLnetwork etc. just point out why a team lost and what they can do to fix it, and then occasionally throw in the "Oh but the Wings/Penguins/Stars/Flyers were able to get 4 goals for the victory". I dont see the problem with Dreger, he just says what is expected of him to say. Some could use that example *cough*Pang, Melrose, Jones, Engbolm*cough*.

That sucked to see, Canada deserved to win on home soil. I really cant stand Ilya Kovalchuk so that made it worse. Also, what was with Danny Markov kissing everyone? Hopefully the Canadians win at the World Juniors in Ottawa next year.

Go for it. Just for arguments sake, I'd rather have Helm and Abdelkader on the roster then Kopecky and Samuelson.

Dreger only compliments the Wings when there winning, just like every analyst. When we lose, it's Dallas he compliments. Analysts are just people who like to spout off about random s***. I enjoy guys like Mike Milburry who just try to piss people off to be funny, as opposed to Darren Pang who says stupid s***, but means it.

I'm not worried because ZDH are being matched up against a bunch of plugs. Peterson, Erikson, and Lundqvist are 4th liners, sooner or later ZDH will over power them, and then Dallas are done because they are relying on that line and Turco to win them the game. Ribeiro is just like Spezza, choking when it counts. Modano and Zubov are really looking past there prime and MVP has be getting tired by now.

Samuelson is the one who needs to be demoted. At the least Cleary works hard in the corners and gets to lose pucks, he nor his line mates have had any sucess putting it in is the problem. Holmstrom-Datsyuk-Filpula Hudler-Zetterberg-Cleary Meech-Helm-Samuelson Drake-Draper-Maltby McCarty Looks ok, if Babs is actually gonna juggle lines I bet they look something like that.

Dano and Homer need to have big game 6's if were gonna win. I'm really starting to miss Franzen, he gives us great depth as opposed to decent depth.

No, if we lose in Dallas, maybe. I think alot of this hinges on whether or not Franzen plays, with him in the line up were 9-2, without him 2-2.

Meech for McCarty, Sammy for Franzen. I love D-mac, and I know he'll probably get a game or 2 in the finals, but right now we need more scoring. A fourth line of Meech-Helm-Hudler, 2nd line of Filpula-Franzen-Cleary. Looks good to me.

The Cup belongs in an Original Six city, or a canadian city that isnt Ottawa. Not in friggin Texas.

Meech, the guy can handle a puck like it's no bodys buisness, and would be a better option on the point then Sameulssuck.
