Honestly, I'd make that trade. Save cap, get a big monster to play with Sundin, plus Blake was pretty darn bad this year.

He'd fix the Leafs, hopefully he'd bring Roberts back, I like seeing Gary in the blue and white. (I'd want the Wings to sign him, but we all know that would never happen.)

2 reasons why that statement just isnt true. 1.) It's the playoffs, Maltby was one of the best Red Wings the last 2 playoff years 2.) He's got D-Mac again

Of course thats what I meant! Helm and Abdelkader are young, and have potential to be good 2nd or 3rd line players. I havent missed Kopecky one bit. Just like last year, didnt do a lot of anything, got hurt and had no impact in the playoffs. Helm and Abdelkader did have impacts in the games they played in.

I think if Helm continues to do well in the playoffs, trading Sammy and Kopecky to make space for the younger guys couldnt hurt. Abdelkader has pretty good size right? So that more then makes up for Kopecky, and Helm has the potential to be at the very least, as good as Samuelson. Zetterberg Datsyuk Holmstrom Filpula Franzen Cleary Maltby Draper McCarty Abdelkader Helm Hudler Not too bad IMO, could be better, but meh. But what do I know, we're probably gonna keep all of them.

How many playoff rounds has Chris Pronger won as a Captain? 2-3? Lidstroms been a captain for 2 years and already has 3. Pronger was captain for a while in St Louis and this year, what a loser.

We should be able to take either in 5 or 6. Personal preference? I dont care! Either one would be GREAT to beat

Constant turnovers and dumb play. No I dont want him to be a superstar, but my god, he doesnt deserve all the defence he gets. He just needs to play well and physical, he never does that.

Keep him where he is, dont fix what isnt broken. Filpula and Cleary just need to get going, Sammy... I sense he wont be seeing alot of ice in the 2nd round.

He was noticeable in the first period of that game, but he didnt do much else the rest of the way. He needs to raise his game, 19 goals in the regular season isnt some kind of fluke.

No, Babcock wont sit Filpula. He should, Filpula wasnt noticeable in any game htis series, one time did he register a point, and has the same amount of goals as Mac and Draper. Those 2 bring a physical edge, Filpula is playing softer then Hudler right now. But to be honest, Filp is faster and smarten then Sammy, and thats who needs to sit out.

Probably his wrist. He isnt shooting and he's a leftie, he hurt his right wrist (??), so that would make sense.
