Good, love the kid, but not sure if he's ready for NHL playoffs. I really believe Downey wouldnt be such a bad choice, better then Helm IMO. (And dont quote me and say I'm a Downey homer and a Helm hater, he was my favorite junior player). It's good that Hartigan is out though.

It was actually a pretty good fight lol. I dont know why Lilja doesnt fight more wide open, he did it twice last year, and drawed Travis Moen, and beat down Patrick Sharp. I have a feeling if he gets back in Game 5, he'll get in a fight. It raises his play to Lidstrom like levels.

Am I the only one who liked Cross? He beat up Steve Ott, scored a goal for us, played physical for us. He didnt play because Babcock didnt think he could handle the Edmonton crowd. He wasnt that bad. We could've done better (Witt, Simpson, Salei, Carney, etc.), but for a cheap price, not bad.

Kronwall needs to play with Lidstrom IMO. He can jump up and crush Nashvilles players, while having Nick cover for him.

Dan Cleary needs some of his newfoundland buddies to get into the Joe, get drunk and make some noise. Honestly though, I thought the Joe was loud in the first 2 games.

:lol: I agree though, Stuart isnt looking too good. It's those goddamn CCM helmets, they are the ugliest things I've ever seen. Mac needs to go find his old Nike Bauer 97 helmet and put that on, Stuart, just go back to RBK.

I swear to god, Mike Ilitch needs to drop Babcock if Dom starts in Game 5. I love Dom, I really do, but his time has passed, Ozzie is gonna take over and you cant argue with how well he played this year. In the all star game, best GAA in the season, 27 wins.

He isnt the kind of coach to reward players or bench players. Pisses me off, Hudler and Draper are playing great, but Filpula and Sammy are...... playing bad. But he doesnt change it up. I really think it's time Downey and Abdelkader get some playing time, more big bodies.

I think bringing in Abdelkader and Downey for the next game, while keeping D-mac in, wouldnt be a bad thing. We have guys that need to score, they need to do that. But other then Kronwall, Cleary, Drake and Draper, there isnt enough physicality. BTW, Lebda had a decent game tonight, and should stay in.
