When he isnt talking about the Wings, I enjoy him. But when he does, he just makes himself look like a tool. From his standpoint, the Wings shouldnt be in the playoffs, they get all there points against the Central, Dan Ellis is ten times the goalie Dominik Hasek is, Nashville should be handed games because they arent getting there breaks and it's just not fair. It's just talking heads talking, but he does a great job of pissing people off.

The verdict is finally out on Giguere. He just isnt very good at all. His rebound control is attrocious, the Lehtinen goal was a result of a bad rebound. He's given up 9 goals in 2 games so far, and I dont see it getting any better. I hate the guy, and hopefully people start to realize that he's not a top 10 goalie in the league, and his superman act in the playoffs, is just that, an "act".

Whenever Malts gets back, he should play with Draper and Cleary. Danny can still play on the PP, but on the 3rd line for 5 on 5 play. Keep Mac in, and sit Hartigan. Only spilt up Z and Dats on the road, but play them together on the powerplay.

Shane Hnidy and Guillame Latendresse just had a go, not a great fight, I'd go win Hnidy.

He doesnt have a shot. Literally, he cant score at all. He skates fast, but not always hard. He doesnt have great hockey sense, and his offence just isnt there. He's really tailed off this year, last year I thought he was great, and had a pretty good hip check. This year....?

Who cares. Have fun in Vancouver, I dont want him on the Wings, but once the Canucks start struggling this guy is gonna be under the lime light in Canada.

We can all agree that Drake didnt have a great year. But he had some flashes of good, games that were either hyped up, or talked about, he'd usually play a very physical game. He fought a couple of times this year, was a pretty good penalty killer. But the Dallas Drake I know is a tenacious forechecker, and a monster body checker, he hasnt shown us that this year. But because older players usually pick it up in the playoffs, (Ala Chelios and Maltby last year) I'm just wondering if he'll have a good first round, he's always been a good 3rd line guy throughout his career, so it isnt crazy to believe he's gonna play better. (Couldnt get much worse, -12!)

NBC brought up a great point during the game. Detroits first line (Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom-Lidstrom-Rafalski) is probably the best 2-way line in the league. I have to say, the way they've handled the Arnott line, it's like there a shutdown line, but can generate so much offence. If you look at it, you have a Norris trophy winner year after year, can handle anyone in the league. Did it last year with Iginla and Thornton, and has done it to Arnott so far. Then you have 2 selke forwards who were both in the top 10 in scoring. It's just amazing the way Datsyuk plays and Zetterberg is one of the smartest players in the game. Rafalski, top 5 in defence points, has played great with Nick this year. Finally, you got the net presence. Tomas Holmstrom, goes to the dirty areas, I believe his prensence really has made Z and Dats tougher, grittier players. He's the physical presence, plus, great playoff player. People will say that The Malkin line in Pittsburgh, and the Spezza line in Ottawa, but those lines are just not as good 2-way as ours.

We're up 2-0 in the series. That's all that matters. Let them talk.
