Gotta feel bad for Backstrom, but that was a great game by Pittsburgh. And that play by Malkin there shows the guy knows whats up, goes to block the pass, gets the puck and gets his 3rd assist.

At the time, a 7 year deal looked crazy to me, and Datsyuk hadnt proven anything. Then he went out and played great in the playoffs and I acknowledged that. Plus now there are 12 and 14 year deals out there and Datsyuk $$$ isnt bad either, since he's a better player then Briere or Gomez. The bertuzzi one.... well, I liked him at the time and thought he would do better, we all make mistakes . -
He just doesnt like Lidstrom because he isnt physical. Jovo is good and all, but not Norris material.

How do you know he's a massive douchebag? You know him personally? Cancer? Ask anyone on the Rangers and they'll tell you how much they like Avery. Guys like Pronger and Downie are disgraces to hockey, Avery... not so much. -
