Assuming he plays in every game down the strech, McCarty scores 5 goals and gets 30 PIM's.

If Babcock wasnt the coach, then I'd imagine Downey and McCarty would play on the same nights. We're playing the Central division alot down the strech, and those are gonna be tough grind it out games. Guys like Hudler and Kopecky will get eaten alive (Hurt/Injured/Scared), guys like McCarty and Downey will finish what ever buisness the other teams start.

Nice to know how things work in Tampa. You show emotion because an NHL team is laughing at you, and you get suspended. I'd kinda like to see one of Tampas smaller europeans have a run taken at them just so Tampa sees how important a guy like Roy is too a hockey club. Props to the Philly in-house staff though, if they do that during the playoffs they could give themselves a better chance to win if there driving guys crazy like that.

They dont mean what they say... unless there's something wrong with them. It's intimadation, nothing more. BTW, I loved Roy and Cotes fighting and jawing at each other, the NHL needs more of that. -

I agree with this statement. Put Mac on a line with Drake and Downey and let them run wild and back themselves up. We havent had that in a while and it'd be nice to push around Nashville and Chicago for once. (Dont bring up on the scoreboard, thats not what I'm talking about! )

Hudler is an easy one, he runs his mouth but cant back it up. Dont dish it out if you cant take it. I dont understand why everyone goes after Kopecky, the guys a nothing hockey player, he's european so his english probably isnt great, he doesnt cheapshot or anything. Maybe he should start fights with Patrick Sharp more and get a tough rep .

He wasnt great... he's been solid in every game he's played in which is great. But he needs another year in the AHL, at the NHL level he hasnt been as physical in the AHL, but i'm sure it'll get better. I actually like his offensive upside, hard shot, a couple more years of conditioning in the minors and this guy could be a #1 or 2 defenceman on the Wings.
