No, the wings outshot the Canes and spent more time in the o-zone, but both goals were soft. The 1st on Lashoff, the 2nd on Howard.

I agree with everyone, Abby-Datsyuk-Franzen aint gonna cut it going forward unless the anchors get going,

Wings need to get it together. Defensively it's a scramble, offensively only the Nyquist line is getting to 2nd chances. I wish we hadn't clinched yet to be honest, the team always brought the second gear when they needed too.

Mike Babcock. No one rests, he wants to win the next 2 games and go into the playoffs on a high point. The playoffs won't start till Weds/Thurs, lets win out and see what happens.

I'd prefer to avoid Boston in the 1st round. They played us with respect this year, but make no mistake, once the playoffs begin they are no different then Anaheim in 07 and 09. It'd be a war, and Rask might be the best goalie in the league. The next 2 games are winnable, so are Columbus'. We'll have to wait and see.

No way. They played us with respect during the season because we're new, playoffs is a different animal. Marchand would be whacking at Datsyuk every shift, Rask could be a wall. Huge motivation to win the next 2 games and hope one of the Florida teams can knock off Columbus. -

They can't play with us 5on5 tonight. The difference is PP, ours sucks, and there's doesn't. End of story, 1 period to get 2 points. A loss in regulation would be a huge blow.
