If he goes back down to that much, he'll be just like he was in Calgary. 3rd stringer.

Wasnt enough room for him. It's too bad he wasnt younger, I'd like to keep him in the system.

Giguere is a good goalie because he plays the straight away very well, blocks shots well and has a great defence. On Tampa Bay, he'd be getting lit up every night. He cant handle angle shots or blazing slapshots, I saw Rolston blow one right past him one game where he just stood there and tried to blame the defenceman. If the equipment is shrunk, I see Giguere's numbers going down, he's not very athletic, and that will hurt him.

Kenny has got to make moves. McCarty is good for depth and grit. But he needs a Stuart/Blake and a Sundin/Fedorov for secondary scoring and defensive depth. He cannot just make depth moves this year.

I'm with you there, but Holland is all about the future, which is so sad considering were as close to winning the cup, as we've ever been.

Thank you, Fleischman is a nothing player on a non-playoff team. Lang was very good for us for a year and a half, and did alright last season, scored big goals and ate ALOT of hamburgers.

Nope, healthy and after the deadline, our team would roll theres over. Turco would stone us, maybe 1 or 2 games, but not enough to win the series. Morrow and Ott are the only good 2-way players that'd be useful in the playoffs. As good as Ribeiro has been, you all remember Boston/Montreal in 04.

I'm with you Lou, you need more Canadians. But if your losing 2 euros, and gaining a better one, it couldnt hurt. Plus, it opens up another roster spot, and with Kopecky definately leaving too, we could get more Canadians (Gratton )

I'd rather have Sundin, but if your only giving up Filpula and Hudler, and your gonna re-sign Hossa, you have to make that move. Hudler and Filpula are career 2nd liners, Hossa is a bonafide top liner.

Before 2007-2008, the Leafs werent always this soft. Back when they had Roberts, Domi, Marchment, etc. He'd have no problem with thugs in Anaheim.

Yeah, Detroit and Anaheim are the only teams willing to give lots for Sundin. Unfortunately for us, Burke will shell out for a chance to repeat. This guy is all about the glory, he'll do whatever it takes to win. What... Ever.

No trade clauses and no movement clauses are horrible.

Iginla and Ott just went. Calm down, Jarome took off the shield. I'd say win Ott only because Iginla lost his balance and just like the douchebag he is, Ott swings about 3 or 4 uppercuts while Iginla was down. Only a couple landed.
