Lilja's play the past couple games hasnt been very good. Honestly, it's been bad since the game against Ottawa. What happened in that game? He fought! It isnt as though this is crazy to believe. Last year, Lilja was the whipping boy of Wings fans all year, then against Anaheim he fights Travis Moen, and his play gets better, and no one said another bad thing about him until Game 5 of the WCF. If Lilja isnt throwing his body around and fighting, he doesnt play as well. If only Babcock knew, he could give him the inspirational speech and Lilja would start playing well again. Lilja's stats over the past 11 games, not that great. I know the Pain Train is capable of more. Well, the Pain Train has vanished and we're left with Lilja, whos pretty darn horrible. It's too bad, the Pain Train had alot of potential to challenge for fighter of the year. Anyways, looks like there might be another Pain Train waiting in the works. Jonathan Ericsson. Kid had over 100 PIM's last year and has 59 this year, the difference between he and Lilja is a pretty obvious trait, SKILL. With no more games left against them or Anaheim this year, I'm pretty bummed. Games against St Louis have only gotten more intriging though

He's playing well, but I know he'll be traded at the deadline. Some team will want him to try and be an effective 2nd liner, he will never get that chance here.
