The way I see it is, theres 3 spots available with the forwards. Kopecky, Sammy and Hudler. If anyone of those 3 were traded straight up for Feds, totally fine with that. Then you get a Sundin or another top 6er for whatever price, then maybe a Gratton. (Then of course McCARTY! ) Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Fedorov-Sundin-Cleary Maltby-Draper-McCarty Filpula-Franzen-Gratton/Drake Downey Not bad, not bad at all. (Though, that seems like a dream scenario)

Don knows what he's talking about. It certainly couldnt hurt to get more Canadians, but I'd settle for americans too. We dont need anymore europeans, we have loads. When we were winning cups, we had a good balance. Right now, we dont have that balance.

Quincey should be untouchable. This guy is so physical, he's big, hard shot. He's got heart and he's willing to wait for his shot. Keep him.

He, Sammy and Kopecky gotta go. Throw the bus at Hossa or Sundin, and get GRATTON. Hudler is too small to have sucess, he doesnt have the talent or the passion of a Cliff Ronning or Marty St Louis to be sucessful. Sammy, you know the story. Kopecky, this guy will do NOTHING in Detroit, trade him somewhere else (Tampa Bay ) and get a chance. Edit: Filpula needs to smarten up and start doing something. People try to tell me this guy is good defensively, dont see it. He works hard, that's about it. BTW, this just goes to show how important Cleary is. 20 goals, 40 points, great PKer, stands in front of the net on the PP, you can say what you want, but he IS important.

Lets trade him for Ryder or Stolll. Kenny could do it

I'm not in favor of trading for Feds, but if it was for cheap. I wouldnt care too much, granted he's healthy and ready to play.

I dont understand why they want him. He sucks, first and foremost, and he's always injured. Plus, this guy is a 3rd liner with a good slapshot at this point in his career. Nevertheless, I would do Kopecky straight up for Fedorov, but that's it. I wouldnt give up anything of real value for Feds.

It'd be nice if we could have our 3rd line from the playoffs back, Cleary-Lang-Bertuzzi. I know people hated the later 2, but it was really good against Anaheim .

Not really, he's got skill too. His +/- is only bad cuz he's on Phoenix, plus he plays on the lower lines.

Not a fight, but a cool fighting stat.. Dan Carcillo has an average of 5.05 PIMs per game in his career. I hope this kid has a very long career .
